Drifter actions have been quite predictable in comparison to capsuleer actions. Claims of Drifter aggression in null security space tend to be the results of active, consistent hostilities between capsuleer alliances in the region against any Seeker and Drifter perceived trespassing on sovereign territory. In all other regions, drifters remain non-aggressive until fired upon or when Seekers have been engaged. The only instances where they have initiated combat are when capsuleers trespass upon the Jove Observatories they seem to have laid claim to.

If they are what we see in the mirror, then the mirror is warping our reflections to higher elevations of both power and decisive action. The Drifters have exercised restraint while holding great power that capsuleers have yet to exhibit.
