You can also send them a limited API key. The one below should be fairly safe.

https://community.eveonline.com/support/api-key/CreatePredefined?accessMask=33947656

Once you create the key, send them the Key ID and Verification Code. This is useful if you want help with creating skill plans in EveMon and such.

Yup, first you create an API key using the link above, and then you "log in" to eveboard.com with the api key and add your character, then your friend (and everyone) can see your character stats. If you set up a password on eveboard.com only people you give the password to can see the stats.

Errr...

You make a screenshot using the PrtScr key.
Open http://imgur.com in your outofgame browser.
Click upload.
Press CTRL+V.
Wait.
Share the link.

Doesn't fit on one screen?
Make two.
There's no faster way.

Why would you suggest a method that time consuming? Your first method would require 5+ screenshots even for a low skill character. You suggested taking them in a multistep method that requires cropping and saving after each before you can even upload. The second method requires expanding every section before highlighting, and then outputs this gibberish which is even harder to read on pastebin. Listed above are two perfectly easy methods for sharing skill lists, so what exactly does either of your suggestions add to this thread? Both are similar in length, and easier to read. I personally do not use eve board because I don't like having that information public.

As for parroting, I was the second response with a different equally viable option to the first. That is the method I request from new players so that I can send them an evemon skill plan afterwards. Its safe because of the api limitations and expiration date set by default. *snip* - Removed reference to deleted post -- ISD Supogo

There is no need for cropping.
Just maximise the window ingame.
Even that is unnecessary when he shares it with a friend only.

Taking five screenshots is equal to ...

PrtScr, alttab to imgur, ctrl+v.
Scroll a bit, PrtScr, alttab, ctrl+v.

It takes less than ten seconds to do this.

Is it a permanently efficient way? No.
Did he ask for that? No! :)
