Hey IGS....So...You know me...Doing my everyday ground ****..killing dudes...blowing things up....repeating that

But theses...strange structures have been appearing for awhile now planetside...Starting appearing last year on November the 4th... (((( i had no other way to take the pic..sorry for poor quality))))


I shrugged them off as some kinda...weather device thingy but...just now im starting to realize the fact that ever time i see one of theses bizarre towers i also see some kinda strange...toxic fog...Everytime one of the towers linger in the background


They don't look Caldari, Amarr, Minmatar, or Gallentean....Not even human really...No one has taken note of them yet i believe...



.......Im not saying its jovian....


But it looks Jovian......Unless someone knows that that actually is...

Have they started shooting at you? Can you confirm that the fog is toxic? Have any alien being been hanging around? Can you procure a sample of said structure? Can I have a waffle? How frequently do these structures appear? And on what planets have you discovered them in?

1. No......i could get closer but i cant because my implant would off me if i get out of the combat area

Honestly, it looks like an array of Sleeper thermoelectric converters around a central station of some sort.

It certainly seems similar to known Sleeper architecture, although that is hard to say for sure.

if it is sleeper then what the hell is it doing on all theses planets? And why is there this toxic air every time they are present....if im not mistaken..November 4th was also the same day those Jove structures in space started appearing....could be wrong though

Given that that's about the time Seekers started poking their heads around the space lanes, it seems reasonable to assume that they'd have an interest on ground-side technology and events as well, so this may well be part of their reconnaissance program.

As for the fog, however, I sadly have little idea. I'm not aware of any other instances of toxic fog like this, but as far as I know, we've been unable to get aboard either Sleeper or Drifter vessels to investigate either.

Thank you for this information. I had seen these structures in groundside footage, but nobody pays attention.

I have only these structures in flashes of groundside footage (when the merc is turning to shoot someone), but now that you have a photograph that is dead on we can perhaps study it more.

It would seem to me that this is in fact not the case. By what I can tell from the image, those 'things' around the 'Central Station' appear to be more curved then Thermoelectric Converters. Also, perhaps this is not Sleeper technology, as Sleeper technology is usually physically connected, not floating next to each other.

These structures appear to resemble known Drifter technology more, for example this, or perhaps this.

Perhaps these are Drifter constructs? As far as I am aware, no Sleepers have been detected outside of W-Space. It could be a Drifter/Seeker construct, as the 'Central Construct' resembles known Seeker technology, as can be seen in this image.

The question is, are they just monitoring the infomorph activity in war zones, or are we about to get a full-scale planetary invasion?

Planetary invasion makes little sense tbqh. If they are after the infrastructure that supports capsuleers - that is, pretty much every space station in New Eden, there is no need to deploy anything dirtside. Just burn the humanity back into the Dark Ages from orbit.

I think they are studying our infomorph types. Something in those cloned soldiers and their wars interests them.

my understanding is the ground clones are made from sleeper tech and the capsuleers clones are made from jove tech correct me wrong.


i'm thinking that there is a link between the sleepers and this ground clone tech it could be an observation post like the jove observation post so could these 2 races be related to each other?

if so would the drifters be their enemy?

No, clones are not made from sleeper or jove tech. The capsule is Jovian and the mercenary implant is sleeper, but the actual clones are our own technology.

Wild theory...

But the jove structures have a similar green fog surrounding them...

The towers planetside seem to emmit the same kind of gas..only it mixes with the oxygen and cuases the air to turn tozic....wild theory..but perhaps the two have something in common

What's more, the unidentified wormholes being used by both Circadian Seekers and Vigilant Tyrannos ships are also flanked by Sleeper constructs of an unknown nature.

Also, those Galnet links you included just have an infinite cycle of captcha requests. Could you perhaps host your images on another site? I checked with other capsuleers, and a number are having a comparable issue.

This is very worrying indeed, I made a comparison between those structures and the initial cloaked Jove structures we saw in space, and they are identical.

Cloaked structure one.
With drawn in outlines.

Now compare that to what you see on the planets.

They are Sleeper in origin if not by looks alone, and they also have the same-looking fog that the Jove structures in space do...

I'll contact some DUST people I know, and take a look.

Ah, I apologize. The Galnet is not exactly the most reliable of places.

And I must admit I feel slightly embarrased by not knowing aboutt the Seekers being Sleeper Drones, and that Sleepers were present in the Cluster.
