A question: Are representatives limited in the size of their envoy entourage?

Also, I'll suppose holographic infrastructure will allow the presence of those unable to reach the location physically, while at the same time limiting the strain on Msr. Antolliere's security personnel?

To the first: The size of an envoy or entourage has not been determined but we will discuss that internally and provide an equal limitation (if any) for all involved parties. If such a limitation were instituted, it would be primarily for logistical purposes and to, as you stated in your second inquiry, to reduce the strain on security personnel.

The the second: Allow me to confirm or deny the inclusion of holographic infrastructure internally before answering publicly.

From our internal discussion, in response to Monsieur Caine's questions:

P.P.C. Administration wrote:

Firstly yes of course the Conference facilities do provide holo for those individuals unable to be there in person for all sittings; with the caveat that this is only guranteed for the General Congress and those Commissions which make use of our facilities. For those commissions whose members decide to use independent facilities we cannot ensure the provision of such technological support.

Regarding the size of delegations, we can presently accommodate delegates with a staff of no larger than ten baseliner staff. With the addendum that while delegates may provide their own security that security will not be allowed to be armed while operating in our facilities.

Our manifesto's may be in alignment.

Forgive the delay in response to this.

It should be stated publicly that the Conference does not have a "manifesto" per se. Though the Conference and its administration hold to the belief that peace is in the best interests of all people, how we seek to achieve it, what form it must take and the scope of it are for the General Congress to debate and discuss. The Conference itself has no agenda beyond open and civil discourse.

To the matter of entourage and shared corporate association:

It is the decision of the Pakhshi Peace Conference and its administration that the following addendum be made and applied in reference to the entourage of attending delegates and delegates attending with shared corporate affiliations:

Individuals sharing a corporation will be considered part of the same delegate entourage, meaning that these individuals are considered traveling and attending in tandem for the purposes of the Conference. These individuals should refrain from traveling with separate entourages and should instead travel in the company of a single, shared entourage.

The Conference does not expect that these individuals participate as a single entity, separate votes and opinions will be considered and counted. The aforementioned limitation is for logistical purposes only.

Thank you.

A farce and an insult. I eagerly await a truly neutral conference that is interested in peace. Until then, enjoy your echo chamber.

I do understand your sense of outrage, kirjuun, but I see this as a conference to get more closely aligned polities talking about the requirements for peace. I think the organisers could be swayed on the advisability of ending the conflict with Nation - especially given the Drifter threat - but they possibly feel that yourselves and the Blooders are sufficiently outliers to the point where including you would distort the conversation that has to happen between the main players - Amarr, Matari, Gallente and Caldari - first.

I will absolutely sponsor you to any conference that spreads it's focus wide enough to profitably include you, as you know I am not given to knee jerk reactions based on spooky propaganda and prejudice.

Are you seriously referring to a Sansha loyalist with that term?

I seriously am. Whilst the orthodox use of the term only extends as far as other Caldari, the unique nature of our workforce requires me to extend it to anyone who is willing to fight and die with me as my comrade. As opposed to someone who is no longer willing to do so.

Between Caldari, the term has additional connotations, of course. Whether those also apply to Evi and I is between us and is a private, company, matter.

I am Caldari(by blood, at least), his co-worker, and his friend. If there is more that would required of me to be called that, I am unaware of the further stipulations.

And thank you, Pieter. Though I don't tend to use traditional Caldari phrases to refer to people by, you know I consider you the same.

This is just a reminder:

The Pahkshi Peace Conference Administration and Security reserves the right to deny entry to the Conference to any individual regardless of affiliation.

To ensure the greatest security of each delegate and the integrity of the Conference; potential delegates may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Screen criteria includes but is not limited to:

  • Background Investigation
  • Public Dossier
  • Critical review of public interaction
  • Private inquiry and/or character witnesses

In the interests of decorum, the Conference will not be publicly posting a list of potential delegates who are not invited nor why they did not receive an invitation unless the situation calls for it. Please understand that not every interested attendee will receive an invitation.

Invitations have begun being sent but have not all been sent at this time.

Thank you.

The Pakhshi Peace Conference would like to congratulate the Yaken Mercenary Family for their successful bid to manage the Security arrangements for the Conference. Further, the P.P.C wishes to congratulate Avio Yaken's appointment as Head of Security.

Although it might not be appropriate,
I would like to attend as a representative of the current scientific events that are going on, and the scientific community that is working on investigating said events. I believe I could provide some insight.

The other main reason I would like to attend is to simply talk to others of different points of view, and look for strategies to help bring people together. We need less conflict in the world, as odd as that sounds coming from me.

Assuming The Honourable Doctor Sarain would give me his permission, of course.

I find the concept interesting, but since certain affiliations are prohibited it looks like I won't be participating. I doubt my insights would have been welcome anyway.

I am pleased to announce that my credentials have been accepted. I will be attending as a Citizen-Employee of Kaalakiota and a State Patriot. I have a particular interest in discussing relations between the State and the Republic, Federation and Empire - especially Caldari Prime and a possible winding down of the state of hostilities existing in the warzone.

I will also be representing the Tuulinen Foundation and will be discussing potential outreach projects between that entity and similar Gallente, Matari and Amarrian Loyalist entities with an eye to increasing cultural and trade connections and promoting a greater sense of how we can retain our individual identities whilst co-existing.

At this time I will have no other Capsuleers in my entourage, which will mostly consist of Kaalakiota Marines trained in Communications, Planning, Protocol and Data.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

I supose I will be representing the Yaken clan while providing security. ..

And Pieter just reminded me of something.....

As head of security I would like anyone who plans on having a entourage of any sorts to send me a document detailing whats in the entourage.

Just so I can keep tabs on all personal attending...

Despite my obvious misgivings about certain delegates... *ahem*... I've submitted my interest in attending as a representative of corporate interests; that is, for example, assuring that the many corporations in New Eden are not limited in terms of market size by any terms that may be agreed upon.

You are, of course, welcome to attend though I suspect any market size limitations placed upon corporations would not be within the scope of this conference.

Perhaps not directly, but there's always the chance that some arbitrary agreed upon stipulation would effectively constrict a market for goods from certain corporations outside a specific empire's sphere of influence. My aim is to prevent that from happening, as I'd stand to lose billions in daily transactions.
