Two Factor Authentication “Remember” Option is forgetful.

Hey all,

I’m really liking the two factor authentication. However the option “Don't ask for codes again on this computer” never seems to work. I always get prompted for the authenticator code. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Yeah, this seems to reset every time you close the launcher. Keep the launcher open, and it remembers the setting.

I'll be turning off authentication until this is resolved.

Thanks for the reply all. Glad its not me going crazy. I'll send in a ticket and see if there is an official stance on this.

I have exactly the same problem. This was a feature I was kind of expecting, but with the current state of affairs it's nearly unusable.

Okay glad to see I'm not alone on this one. I'll log a ticket as well. Hopefully they address this soon. its more of an annoyance than anything.

Not fixed for me. On one of my machines the "don't ask" setting works but on the other machine it doesn't work. CCPls, what's the status on this?

I have multiple Clients and some remember and some don't. I have not yet taken the time to figure out if the same ones yet.

Just now getting around to see if anyone else has the issue.

For me it is still not totally fixed.

How do you turn it off? i didnt know you can because i got the same issue aswell

I think you log in to account management (same place you turned it on, on the web not the launcher or client).

Update for me I still get the issue but only on the computer that I have not logged into the test server.
Thinking of putting the test server on that computer to to fix it.

Will let you know if that works.
