so I've been in a lot of public channels. HK's and LZHX's own most of the population of course and their pubs are often hilarious/trolling/socialable. However smaller, usually those who do not actively advertise themselves (youtube channel for example), corps sometimes can be deadly quiet in pub channels. With trending like this, they will probably lose even more potential applicants. I am not implying they are suffering from it. It could be either different play styles, or corp management etc. , but it is a possible loss for the perspective applicants. They may miss a very good group of people cuz of this. And as far as I know in WH swapping corp is not the easiest thing.

If people notice EVEWho or other statistic data, more people are crowding into the enterprises and the other corps are generally dropping in active numbers. From my perspective it may cause problems or stagnancy or a big blue donuts.

And I just met a guy in a trading channel bragging about his daily sleeper loot in C6 ^^.

Or, someone may want to start to share unique attracting stories about your corp so more folks can know you.

In the end, I'm not saying recruiting section is useless. It's just most of them are mediocre/ show no insights of a corp. Plus I was scammed 3 years ago by an official RO of a well-known WH corp^ .

Smaller corps do smaller things and are thus more under the radar and video editors the likes that HK and LZHX have aren't exactly a dime a dozen.

How do they grow?

Same way we all have, make a name for themselves. Your corp will only be as successful as the amount of passion and care you put into it. This really is not a new phenomena.

If your a small Corp best thing you can do is keep quiet. dont be douche bags and keep your pub channels clean, Dont worry about being big, thats just a trap, all you should be working on is keeping activity up and getting your corp culture sorted out. having new people join and finding out that they hate WH life dont like scanning, other people in your corp or how people troll each insistently is not conducive to keeping overall numbers stable.

Your biggest potential source of new recruits is the people you kill or die too.
Clarion call 2 was the best recruitment video ever made for AHARM, by a 3rd party. so other peoples videos can actually help you more than you think.

But why spring the trap just for one dread?
