Do capsuleers pee in the pool?

I haven't found anything that explicitly indicates whether biowaste is handled by the hydrostatic fluid itself or removed via a mechanical device. I'm thinking for simplicity's sake a capsuleer would just pee away or worse. A steady supply of specialized nanites permeating the fluid would likely break it down both in terms of mass and molecular composition to something either reusable or to be scrubbed away. Has there been a CCP Falcon statement or one by someone of similar authority on the subject?
