High-Sec POS Question

Hi all, quick question regarding anchoring a POS: say I've found a moon in high-sec with nothing but a GSC anchored around it... would that GSC prevent me from anchoring a POS around said moon?

Reason I ask is that I'm planning to pay a standing service to increase my corp standing to allow a high-sec POS deployment, so I can't exactly try it at the moment. Hence my reliance on prior experience of other EVE players to answer my question.

It shouldn't block (just move a few km and try to anchor again - the tower will always snap to the same position), but if it does then file a stuck petition to have a GM move it.

It is not a valid tactic to use a container to block anchoring a control tower.

It will, but a quick petition and the GMs will remove it. Using GSC's to block moons is considered exploitative.
