soooo.. You guys snuck this one in on me..

Titles are no longer viewable on info tab of pilots.

Its supposed to be not viewable to the public.. but I cannot even see my own titles on my own pilot info screen

Furthermore, Give me the damn option to turn it off!

We use our titles for rank, position and intimidation. We have nothing to hide from the general public, so just as awoxing is selectable, so too should be this bonkers security measure..

Todays patchnotes confirm this was intentional. However it states they are now hidden from public view, but I don't even see corp titles within the corp,

This is really crap and not an addition to the game at all, bring back titles please at the very least visible within the corp to other corp members, the mighty Vanu depends on it for our inhouse combat achievement system.

THIS SUCKS!

As far as I can tell the manually entered titles are still visible, just not the corp role-giving ones.

So if this was intentional and not some bug, does that mean I have to go through all my members and re-enter all their titles manually?

Yes, but it also means that colored titles would now be a thing of the past, which is a step backwards imo.

Gotta agree, this is silly.

It's not like there was some new update that made Titles public when they had been hidden. They have always been public as far back as I can remember, as such any information in them has always been considered public.

If you want to add private ones, then make a new section for private titles.. but leave the existing ones public. No one was having issues with them. This is one of those changes for the sake of changes without there being an issue to fix in the first place.

Reminds me of when they made it so only Corp Members could use an Orca, cause in that devs mind Orca's were NEVER used in fleets with different corps, and never bothered to ask for feedback ahead of time.

This is what gets CCP in trouble. It's one thing if it's on Sisi and we don't like it, and they don't change it. At least the feedback was given. But to just make changes and not put it there, or get feedback, pisses me off, and often times I'm not alone.

this needs fixed. Give me the option to display titles publicly. Im the damn CEO. if I want people to see my titles that's my damn business.

We have prospects (prospect title) who have been in the club for months, and Black Jackets who earned their patch in weeks.

Its damn near impossible to tell em apart any more.. your ******* with my corps vibe.

Ive Black Jackets pissed off at me because they think ive taken the patch away from em. And Prospects who think the corp has given up on their poor souls and shitfits.

I'd be surprised if you even knew.

Doesn't seem plausible somehow.

The titles thing is pretty stupid on CCPs part though. No need for the change.
