Any word on the Dominix redesign?

First off, I want to say CCP has been doing a great job of finding the ugliest of the ships today and giving them a much needed mc-lovin'. :)

If I recall, in 2014 fanfest we saw this concept for the Dominix redesign : http://www.evemanufacturing.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/dominix-fanfest-redesign.png

It was later clarified this was not going to make it into the Kronos expansion. For 2015 fanfest we saw the new Caracal (which looks great btw). :) But no mention of the Domi.

Potatoes need love too? Blink Any idea when this rework may be happening?

Even though I have no plans to fly it, I'd love to see the new Dominix.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Surprisingly but Gallente Federation did block the whole redesign process for gallente ships. Due to some internal tensions between CCp and Gals. No more datails provided by internal source which is part one of the conflict sides.

you can´t redesign the flying potato. you have to dig one out thats almost the same size but looks less like the first one.

mmh i´m really not sure if the one you found is so much better. perhaps usable as t2 variant...

I like the current domi model, that being said I also really like the one the proposed. I feel conflicted, the thought of changing a ship which I used for about 2 years makes me a bit upset, but usually CCP's redesigns have been spot on and every ship has been improved by it. I want to see what they have for a variation between the sin and the domi if they push through a new model.

they said "other priorities" over came the domi's redesign, specifically the whole d3 thing and i THINK they might have mentioned the chimera and phoon redeisgns...
