Lets sort these 0.0 carebears out!
And make their local chat invisible.

Please bring the whining on :)

EDIT:
After reading the posts a lot of people are for this idea!
If implemented it will be a great isk sink, and the miners will profit :)

Another advantage is, it will drive small merc corps into 0.0 to take out empty alliance areas and to ofcourse ransom :)
Its all win win.

And making the stations destructible is going to do what for you? Maybe if your corp wasn't 350kills to 2000 losses you'd have the muscle to ref and claim a system. Instead you've decided to come here to huff and puff and stomp your feet saying if you can't have one then neither can anyone else?

Maybe if you weren't a failure at pvp you would get them before they dock. Now you have fun loosing more armor tanked hurricanes. I have to get back to burning Branch to the ground and taking the enemies stations away with my fellow blues.

but it's definitely not your fault, you're the best PvPer in the cluster and it's definitely not your lack of skill that prevents you from getting any kills

It's moments like this that make kill boards worthwhile.

That being said, I think they should be destructible. On occasion it might make for some interesting strategic decisions. Salting the earth and poisoning the well stratagems are not used often enough in EVE.

If your neighbor is getting strong enough to pose a threat, and you can take them but don't have the manpower to control their territory in addition to your own, destroying all the stations in their space sounds like a viable way to seriously impair their abilities to leverage income from the area. If they leave as a result, the next occupants have to devote significant resources to developing the area before they can become a threat to you.

+1 for destructible outposts

The whole station system should really be redone to be honest. As well as a POS redo, roll them both into a new, more extensible system.

Ask White Noise about Branch.

Then ask them why they blamed their loss of the region on CCP and not being able to blow up stations.

I think you'll find the CSM is already pushing for this.

What's the matter, can't compete with the z0r chains, so you decide to try to nerf goonswarm's primary weapon?

Cyno's lit, bridge is up, but one pilot won't be jumping home.

Sure. I mean I am pretty sure that would be a great griefing tool.

Of course everyone would be living out of NPC stations to minimise risk to assets which would be an interesting change :)

I going to call it: there will be some kind of outpost destruction introduced in 2012.

And not before time as well.

Destructible outposts will mean that it will be possible for the big 0.0 powerblocs to operate a schorched earth (space?) policy.

This will make it harder for smaller groups to gain a decent foothold in 0.0.

nobody will rebuild them.

it comes down to large alliances effectively being able to shut down an entire cluster of systems and create little carebear wonderlands

it will actually make things better for carebears.

you want them out kick them out, they are there for a reason, deny them that and they will pretty much **** off even if they never have the balls to fight you.

No, if anything it will make them easier, large powerblocks will have to increase concentration in there central systems in order to save there main stations from destruction, potentially receeding the size of there true space and leaving the gaps in between to be taken by smaller groups. It'll stop the whole business of station systems with 1 person in local.
