This is actually a little annoying. Sad

Could we please have a toggle where we can choose to have titles display on show info or not? As we use these publicly-viewable titles a lot, and with the full expectation that they are publicly-viewable. Having to now give everyone s vanity title manually is not a reasonable solution.

Lot of people today in my fleet and corpmates are saying this: Double-clicking in space does not move the ship towards the direction as it used to. Also, decloaking after a jump into a new system does not work either, if you double click, in some cases. I lost my nerves when I was trying to get a tackle on hostiles but couldn't decloak. Also missed one decloaking while camping when the ship didn't get my new directions I tried to give to it by double clicking in space.

There was a mention that "Fixed an issue where non-double clicks could be incorrectly interpreted as move commands.", but now the double clicking stuff isn't quite working as it should.

Was there an added delay on commands or something?

I had some ship variants up for sale in Jita as corporate sale orders. With the change-over, all of the raw hulls are now impounded in Jita and will cost me 500m to release. That or I trash a few hundred million worth of BS hulls. This is obnoxiously painful and doesn't seem like an intended consequence of the changeover process...

At least the member of a corp can view their Titles (by Role) from the "View Member Details" option right-clicking on themselves, and seeing which they have (indicated by a green checkmark) on the Titles tab.

I've tried to reset them, rename them, delete/add them, but they will not show up on a players info window :(

Anyone else?

Cheers,

Astro.

With regards to Titles assigned to Roles it appears that these titles no longer display on a character. The vanity titles still appear but those assigned to Roles have now disappeared.

Pilots with the Roles still have them, just not the title associated.

I reviewing the devblog it doesn't appear that this was to have happened. Any information on this?

Two things:
1) While I understand that the old skinned ship items no longer exist on the market etc., my problem is that all my transaction history (both market and Contracts) have now lost any record of what I purchased/sold/received/won etc.

2) The "Activate SKIN license" right-menu selection *really* needs to have a warning/confirmation pop-up, just like all other permanent/irreversible actions do (rigs, implants, etc.)

Really? Sensitive data?

I can pretty much guarantee that 90% of the player base use the titles for "vanity" naming as well as the intended purpose.

Please bring them back!

Make this toggleable please, it doesn't make sense to take it out without warning AND not give us the option to use it we want to

Agreed - make it toggleable by CEO/directors and give it up to corp discretion, not that of CCP. Let it be our choice to leak our elite in-game roles and titles.

I've seen more than a few people complaining about problems downloading the patch with the launcher, but nobody has offered a solution that's actually worked.

Launcher patches successfully to v2.2.87305 but freezes shortly after it starts to download the patch

I've tried...

Clearing out the launcher cache
Repairing the game
Running recache.exe

I've even uninstalled EVE, cleared all my already downloaded data and setting, and started with a fresh download.

Same exact problem every time.

Does anyone have a solution? Maybe an exported copy of the latest patch, so I can install it manually?

In no way has this update gone well at all.
So frustrated at trying to get this game to work after the update, I DELETED IT.

Limited to 2gb of data a week, I cannot download the FULL version and IMHO... DoD is **** and a perfect example of the needs of the few outweighing the need of the many.... I DONT NEED DoD and I DONT WANT IT.
So, come here dog, we're off for a walk to the library where I can download the FULL client to my stick.
Got home after a jolly walk with my pooch and guess what..?

Part 1 of the four files IS CORRUPT, likely not your fault there CCP (used IE9 and it hung on part 1 at 99% for ages, I knew I should have used Chrome)

So here I sit, no EvE (8ballclub is down too, my only other gaming pleasure) and not a clue what to do with my life.
Still, tomorrow is another day, perhaps I will get the FULL client without corrupt files, and maybe you can fix things so they don't keep fcuking up.... what do you think? huh? and chance?

I have the same problem... that didn't seem doable. And since all alts on the same account end up in the same redeeming queue, it makes it impossible to hand the same SKIN to each character,

Why do you constantly cheerlead CCP, its obvious that this is something players didn't want. Maybe you should be communicating that to them?

For example in many corps we use titles to designate who has access to certain hangars and its useful for other corps in alliance to see who has access to these hangars when handing out ships or topes or w/e

It also means that every time I wanna see if someone has access to a certain hangar I don't need to go looking into roles management etc

And going through and assigning everyone a vanity titles is :effort:

Like really why fix what isn't broken, and if you are going to fix it why not do it right

This is a passable work-around for small organizations, but for larger corps this would be a nightmare. Take EVE University for example, they have hundreds of pilots with titles linked to Roles. And they're not the only large organization affected. Besides, there is a character limit for vanity titles (I'm not sure if this limit included the previous titles assigned to Roles, it may have).

It does seem as if this "upgrade" was implemented without feedback from the stakeholders. I could be wrong, but it does seem as if the best solution is to allow CEOs/Directors to toggle this feature.
