plus a lot of that content was funny, but also possibly in the realm of "trolling." Although I find a lot of that kind of content gets likes on these forums, but I try to be as "constructive" as possible these days.

I remember getting my 100th Like, as if it happened yesterday. I'd been working the "Post your EVE-related Yo Mama jokes" thread pretty hard, but not getting any results. Really disappointing. I tried a lot of different tacks, but nothing was working. I just couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. Then I just left a casual, "Bah, gewns, who cares?" somewhere in GD, not really thinking about. Before I knew it, I'd popped the 100 level.

Getting that 100th Like was an achievement. I had grind about a thousand posts to get there.

I tend to get likes in GD when I say some smartass thing about goons or remark about being one.

If you get into a good emotional/inflammatory thread in GD, you can say anything at all and watch your Likes multiply while you sleep. "________ tears, best tears," "The butthurt is strong in this one," "Meh," "..." etc. Anything at all, as long as it's on one side of the fight or the other. Some people might complain about Like-farming that way, but it's legal and not an exploit. BlinkSmile

What, nobody told you OP? Uh-oh...you might be in for an unpleasant surprise... Upon reaching 100 likes a poster's name is put into a database. One of these names is picked randomly once in a while and this man "pays them a visit" irl. Keeps things interesting.
