Still no solution to my problem with all text and interactables ingame shows as

[NomessageID and then a 6 digit number]

tried running the repair option on the launcher several times in a row with no luck any leads i can follow ?

I assume that this could be caused by corrupted / missing resources. Could you try to run rescache.exe, which should be next to repair.exe?

If this does not help then please send a bug report directly from the client (F12) with included screenshots. Thanks!

Mosaic update works fine on my desktop computer, but atm I can't use my desktop.



On my laptop it's not working at all, game freeze at launching with or without launcher, game not responding.

- Cleared all possible cache same thing
- Tried safe mode, same thing
- Delete all the game and cache manually then trying to reinstall, just impossible, the update does not download, or maybe at 1 Kb/s... yes my connexion is an optical fiber ftth 300Mb/s
- Tried to copy my eve folder from my desktop to my laptop and launching game, same issue game not responding


I'm so happy with this update I can't play on my laptop..... =(

Took the hassle of taking my laptop to a friend (who downloaded without issue), and borrowed his internet connection. Again, same problem. I use no virus protection, cleared the cached data as others have done.
When attempting to close the launcher, it becomes unresponsive and win7 has to force close it.
Is there an alternate download place?

I play fixed window over two screens. I usually have between 100 and 120 fps during normal gameplay.

if I start the new map, eve stalls for like 5 seconds and the fps drop down to 0.97. then it goes up to ~27fps again, but everthing is stuttering. Then, when I close the map again - eve stalls again for 5 seconds. frames drop to 0 and rise to 120 again.

Any chance this offline launcher issue is going to looked into at some point? It's been happening off and on now for more than half a year now and the only way to really fix it (that I know of) is install the entire game over again... until it starts happening again.

ok did what you suggested but to no avail i did try to send a bugreport directly from client but since i can´t remember that menu very well, i couldn´t get far with all the NomessageID´s on screen but here´s a screenshot that i hope might help discern the nature of the problem.

Member "Titles" are no longer displayed on player info pages/windows

I've tried to reset them, rename them, delete/add them, but they will not show up on a players info window :(

Anyone else?

Forget what I've wrote, it works now.

I just let the game "not responding" for about 30min, then game launched.
I think I have big issue with packet route to ccp server atm and this time was need to fill the cache.
I hope those packet route issues will be resolved fast.

My launcher wont update to the new version it seems. I remains at 878305. I dont see any progress bar telling me its downloading the new version. Tried doing it manually by downlading 871265. It simply restarted is as 878305. What am i doing wrong ?

the mosaic patch today does cool things What?...
resets all my game settings, all window sizes/positions,
delets all browser bookmarks, drone groups and overview settings,
incl. the exported overview .yaml file!

If I may suggest filing a bugreport with the map open.

That will help them a lot.

Okay, after re-reading my initial post mentioning the patch size being just under 30MB, each time I re-launched EVE, I noticed each time the same froze at 1.1MB, the 30MB would go down by 1.1MB. I was able to finish patching after 14 retries getting into the game.
Thinking back to the last "expansion," I recall having a similar issue. I believe this is DoD related. I have it set to download everything up front, instead of in game. Is this a known issue?

Any acknowledgment of POS arrays ending up outside the force field due to the 'Van Allen Belt' shape of the new design?

I quoted a post from the general discussion thread containing a screen shot of this issue here on page 5. The hardeners which are often placed at the poles are outside the field and targetable.

For that matter does the funnel extend all the way to the tower leaving it vulnerable? I'm at work so I can't check for myself.

Unrelated to the launcher or skin issues it seems that most of you have been having, my Rattlesnake's traits aren't working properly. It only applies its role bonuses to Heavy and Sentry drones while drones are in the drone bay. When I launch them, they revert to their default state. Any ideas what's going on?

Client Fails to launch after after update has been installed.
Tried repair tool and rebooting numerous times to no avail.

The client hangs and eventually becomes non-responsive.
Looking though forum thread noticed that it was suggested to run a rescache - which i've done.
Turns out 28489 files are missing, none corrupted. When asked to download this amounts to 4.79 GB missing data

My question is this:
Seeing as I was online immediately before update went up my client was in order, how does a 30mb update result in a 4.79Gb data loss?
Im no techie so help me with the logic here, was there inadvertently a cleanup of the cache or what?

Still not sure that this will work so i'm waiting now for the 4.79 gb download....

This the upteenth time a miniscule update goes awry, and I honestly think you guys should do far fewer updates - bunch them together and make 'em meaningful and do it properly rather than a million half-arsed ones.

Would appreciate some feed back

I had problems with the launcher throwing exceptions. I was able to get in using exefile.

I'm reinstalling now but I noticed my performance went off a cliff. I went from 30FPS to only four or five on the same hardware I used yesterday. I set all video controls to minimal and unchecked all the features like ship explosions with no result.
