I don't get the point.

You plan to fill wh space with carebares who pay for living there. so far it's clear.

But what are you going to do all day? What do you want in wh space if that's going to be your kindergarten where everyone is blue?
With every corp you evict from their home, wh space will get less populated. Less population leads to less pvp. Less pvp will lead to bored members. Bored members will leave.
This does not make any sense.

They're going to join alt corporations with their alt characters and farm their renters for tears and get paid for doing it all at the same time. Occasionally they'll 'come to the rescue' to their renters will be sooooo grateful!

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Take the botlord model, replace renters with escalation alt holes. Botlord necessarily limited null PVP. These understandings/agreements, informal as they may be, necessarily limit WH PVP. Is it worth it? I'm not privy to the numbers involved, so I can't say, but the blingy bloodbaths are certainly impressive.

Kspace CFC has less pretense about it, is all. Ask CFC about botlord and we'll say "yeah we're in love with our renter income and will take steps to protect it". Ask WHCFC about it and you'll get "LOOOOL YEAH WE'RE RENTING Roll (hey guys get a load of this moron over here who actually thinks we're renting Blink)". It's annoying as it is transparent.

I used botlord as the example because he mentioned the CFC specifically and because I'm relatively familiar with it. If you wanna mentally replace "CFC" with whoever you feel truly deserves credit for inventing renting and NIPs, feel free. Blink

As for the "white knighting" or whitewashing or whatever, I must admit that I didn't really pay attention to the public-facing spin w/r/t botlord. The response to the (rather spirited) internal pushback was basically "we know, but it's gonna make us boatloads of cash".
