I just went for a roam in Black Rise - screw links and screw farmers

I lost more ships in Black Rise in 2 weeks than in 3month zero-zero and I wasn´t killed by npc´s so where you went and where pilots don´t want to fight and just plex farm in stabbed ships? Lol

The amount of links, drugs and nasty tactics in FW is beyond normal for sure but instead of judging it I´d suggest to learn how to handle it. Once you get yourself around that stuff you will get good fights out of it. :)

1. Anything to get rid of links is something i'd like. I still believe putting them on grid would be the best and easiest solution.

2. No. Farmers gonna farm. Why people are so obsessed about potential ****** killmails is beyond me.

If you consider the 0-15 people I fly with a blob, then my friend you haven't seen a blob. Also, I am not a guy or a dude, and friends OP plz nerf. CCP Plz add matchmaking!

Fake Edit: M8 have you looked at your own KB? Your only kill in april has no damage. Post on your main and show you l33t solo skills if you are gonna accuse people of blobbing.

Links only working on-grid will be perfect when it is eventually deployed. Maybe change it so plex timers only count down if you have no warpstabs fitted because :lore:?

It was just a bad day. I'll pack two scrams next time and go on another farmer killing spree.

On topic: I think giving links an aggression timer is definitely legit to help the problem though. Not suspect, just the weapon timer that prevents gate jumping.

That's the way to go ! Killing farmers with two scrams is fun.

Also, after two month into FW, I noticed some patterns:
1.) Monday - Wednesday are farmer days. Things start to heat up from Thursday on.
2.) Different areas of FW-Zone have different active times, depending on the country of the locals.
An area with mostly Russian locals/visitors will be dead during US TZ prime time.

So, it pays off to visit the same area at different Times.


People buy things they don´t need, with money they don´t have, to impress people they don´t like !

I'm not saying I love the idea of e-links in FW, but there is something uniquely ignorant about that particular criticism.

Maybe a bit off-topic, but IMO the Entosis link thing works better the less important the actual Entosis ship is in the whole "holding the grid" game. Otherwise it's about being special (like in PvE) instead of fleets/people shooting at each other. That's why the concept won't work in small scale or solo situation like FW.

Hello zappity! Been a little while since I've blown you up lol, but for some of the reasons you stated is why, got tired of lowsec and all the bs you listed, I believe stabs shouldn't work in fw plexes to start!

Agreed there should be timers on linked ships. Christ Eve is a game full of people trying to get the upper hand other the other guy. 90% of pilots in this game will not engage unless they think they have the advantage. I fight in black rise and essence and fights are there but you have to be ready to take on linked pilots, being baited, Implants [insert p3n!s joke] insta whacked on dock with sensor boosted Loki station camping and pilots with generally bad hair.

Theres counters to all the above, Jesus by the time CCP finishes nerfing every god dam thing in the game . It'll be powder puffs in space.

I once tried roaming Black Rise, never again. Every time I jump gate my laptop's GPU goes on a literal stroke and strands me on the gate for 20 seconds without any display while my GPU reboots itself. Same goes for dock/undock. **** sux.

But seriously though, solo roaming has always been a mixed bag. Some days it's a one way golden ticket to awesome town with so many fights win or lose and other days it's drier than a the sahara desert with no fights for hours on end that you'd rather go whelp your ship to an obvious bait and be done with the roam.

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!
