Running a pre-release EVE Launcher - April 20 2015.

my launcher problem is now solved......I believe.
I deleted everything. Did a full offline download.
Launcher boots up, but I still had the pre-release window open up.
But what the hell, I'm playing Eve, and everything seems to be ok again, running at normal load up times & resolutions.

I had tried the CCP pem file fix, but unfortunately, that did not work for me.

Will have to see if it downloads any patch files when available, otherwise I will have to try the CCP pem file fix again.

Edit: ok , have now run the pem file, with the new download and eveything is now back to normal.
No error window. WooHoo!
Far out, that was a pain in the ....

For those that don't want to deal with the weird workaround in this thread, you can also follow these instructions which are much simpler: https://ccpcommunity.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202664365-Reinstalling-the-Launcher (Any launcher version 2.2.878019 and above will fix this issue)

I have tried both the weird workaround and following the instructions in the link provided and I'm still getting a warning that I'm running a pre-release version of the EVE Launcher. I noticed I had a really old version of the launcher that wasn't auto-updating so due to the warning we got about updating our launcher I did it manually. I'm now on v.2.2.878019. The game launches fine, the only issue is the annoying warning.

Ah thank you, I was wondering if there was a page somewhere that links the latest launcher version. I've had to reinstall the launcher every month or two for the last 6 months when it plays up. This will save me bugging someone in corp for their launcher version number so I can manually edit a download link off the CDN.

About F-ing time, worked for me guys

His link opens up a web page - [wall of text] copy to note pad save as

web.ccpgamescdn.com.pem

in launcher folder - For windows 7 - 64

Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\launcher\appdata\EVE_Online_Launcher-2.2.871481.win32\certs

It will ask the file already exists copy over it

CCP - Compensation ? for the lost game time ?

it has fixed my per-release launcher error and updated my launcher to v 2.2.878305 not v 2.2.878019, could CCP blue give a answer please.

This morning my launcher auto-updated to v.2.2.878305 and I don't have any error messages any more. All is well. :)

Still have the pre-release error if vpn is enabled in router. But all the graphics now show up 100% and fast.
