Nice to see new burner missions, any chance to make them standalone from the normal missions?

Instead of fundamentally changing the functionality of the system that governs who can do what within a player corporation, we took a pallet knife to the UI, triaged the biggest issues people have with the current system, and threw away excess stuff to make a lighter system that is easier to navigate and manage.

I kinda thought the fundamental functionality is precisely what players have asked to be fixed with corp roles for ages?

+1 the roles themselves are godawful, hopefully with the new structures?

Did you guys add the ability to edit/grant DUST roles from the EVE client while you were at it? (If not, please do.)

"Drifter and Circadian Seeker loot table re-balance" = more % of dropping good loot or less % of dropping good loot?

The Corp Roles UI reorganization coming in Mosaic is a great improvement. Can't wait to see similarly good stuff for Titles. Then after that, I am really hoping for some much needed functionality/granularity improvements. But you gotta start somewhere and this is a very reasonable first step at making role management less painful to administer. Thanks for all the good work!

We’re now ready to return to these disparate groups of elite freelance pirates and this time their bases can be accessed by cruisers and battlecruisers. The next round of Burner missions will also be more distinct from each other, with unique gameplay mechanics and combat environments for each mission.

Excellent - looking forward to these. Many of us are also eagerly looking forward to some Battleship (heavy) Burner missions, and these should definitely include the ability to use T3 Strategic Cruisers, T2 Command Ships and T2 Marauders. Any chance of this happening sooner as opposed to later?

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

The corp Roles interface changes are nice, can't wait for this to happen to Titles.

For the View, Take and Container icons, maybe iterate on those a little bit? In the screenshot the "eye" icon, which I assume is for view, looks more like a circle, and the container icon is kinda wonky. It took me a few mental calculations to sort the icons out.

All in all, a nice stopgap while we wait for functionality changes to roles and titles.

While I very much appreciate the UI refresh, I left feeling COMPLETELY underwhelmed in RE: to CORP Management.

Like one poster said above, we asked for something way better. Instead we got "Lipstick on a pig." Corp management still is a "pig." let's be honest.

Anyways, not to judge...

I take away that it was probably too big to tackle at the moment???

With that said, can you at least promise those of us that do try to run corps that it we can expect to see something MUCH better in the way of a redesign for HOW corp roles work?

Again, I came expecting brilliance and left uninspired.

At least let us use more than 7 divisions.

or at least add some new roles or granularity there in regards to securing items with an audit log to catch thieves.
I.e. we have an audit log for who removes ISK from a wallet, but can't have one for items in a division?

Anyways, good changes otherwise and please keep up the great work in EVE lately. I love playing this game these days. Thanks.

Nice changes so far.

Will it be possible in the future, Accesses to the hangar in different offices / POS directly and not all together?

For example: Member xyz should have in the POS 1 access to 1st Division and 3rd Division, but in POS 2 he shall have access to all divisions except 2nd Division and 5th Division.
And the same example for different offices that are not the HQ.

Problem of CCP is that they don't understand how to work with old community, that pretty much know everything... Big and positive changes must be released not like Thera fail and little Mosaic patch that even not deserves to receive name. Also as original founders of EvE are not working in company - second generation are just workers and EvE for them is mostly source of income... For founders of EvE it was more then work, they builded world of dream Straight

Yep, now instead of getting blown up in tech 2 frigates...you can get blown up in tech 2 cruisers at 10 times the price....unless you are off grid boosted and have every related skill to 5 and overheat everything...then maybe you'll have a 1 in 10 chance of survival....yep that definately is worth the extra 100,000 isk reward!!!! Thanks Fozzie, that's exactly what I wanted when I said new missions!!!! I'm also willing to bet the farm that you'll think an 80% mission decline rate is actually a sign of a great success for new PVE...what bunch of bologna!!!!!
And OH by the way, the burner missions are not special...they are certainly NOT rare but, they are EXTREMELY difficult...so difficult in fact that they are not worth risking tech 2 ships on; hence the reason 80 plus percent of folks don't run them!!!Shocked

Running a burner mission make the same amount of sense as flying an empty freighter to Jita on the weekend. you just don't do it, you will be blown up!!!Roll

Robert, I completely understand that the burner missions aren't for everyone. They're optional challenges for those who find such challenges interesting.
The definition of difficult will be very different to different people, which is why we don't force anyone to try these missions.

Wow, I'm honored!!! Thanks for taking the time to respond...hoping maybe you'll throw the minors/industrialists/non PVP folks a bone soon (TM)!!! By the way, that would be the opposite of a roughly 50 percent nerf to scrapmetal reprocessing!!!!

Opps, sorry forgot to mention the stipulation that said bone applys to more than just null-sec/worm-holes...us high sec bottom dwelling scum sucking low lifes are people too!Lol

Fozzie, did you guys ever explain the need for the 180 some sentry turrets in that massive cube? Was it intended to tax our PC's more for no apparent reason, or what, because they were initially warp-able as to allow us easier travel of the near 200k between the Talosi. But then apparently you guys learnt that we we were doing that and disabled it, forcing us not only to jump half a dozen jumps just to get to the mission, but then driving 180k three times per mission...

There were A LOT of questions in that thread that got ignored for the dribble type ones that had already been answered several times....

The sentry guns act as a sort of minefield, activating if you get within 10km of them. Their purpose in the mission is to provide some light piloting challenge as you must avoid them as you fight the NPCs. Avoiding them is quite easy for anyone who knows how to manually pilot but it still adds an extra layer to the mission.
