Thing is... capsuleers could just get a new clone if they lose their eyes or whatever.

The cybernetic limbs/body parts still make sense, because they are an improvement over your normal body parts. But an eye patch is just 100% obsolete... so it wouldn't make any sense for a capsuleer to wear one.

There's the whole Solid Snake implant if that's your fancy. Or a monocle.
