Hi,

Does anyone know why certain items have a yellow exclamation point on them when I try to reprocess? The reprocessing amount is extremely low and it says "Warning: non-repackaged and valuable item" but the item(s) are repackaged. ???

It means based upon the market values the value of the resulting products are much lower than the starting material.

Why are some items so bad and others aren't? Is there any rhyme or reason to this or is it just how CCP typed in the numbers?

No, not CCP. Players decide the value and prices.

But I don't understand that...since the minerals that you get from these items are extremely low. Why do they provide so few resources compared to others?

Bigger things tend to require more minerals. And reprocessing rates are based on building requirements. So a 1600mm plate will give you more than an 800mm, large gun more than medium, etc.

The items' market prices are probably high for reasons other than their mineral quantities.
CCP decides how many minerals a module will reprocess for, players decide what the item and minerals are valued at. If module price >>> price of reprocessed minerals, then the module is in demand or rare or is something like a faction or T2 item.
