I have bookmark related improvement idea that is different from one already here.

Its possible to create needle in your cargo bay from bookmark. This bookmark can be sold in contract but contract window cannot search these bookmarks so noone finds your contract. I propose improvement for bookmarks that could create market for these locations. It would be possible to earn isk with scanning sites down.

1. Bookmarks should have not-editable information how old they are.
2. Bookmarks should have not-editable information in what kind of site they were created. This information would not be name of bookmark.
3. Bookmarks should be searchable by contract search engine.
4. Wormhole bookmarks could have information where they lead to.

With these improvements I could scan down wormhole, sites in wormhole and sell whole package for ISK.

Comments are welcome for my idea.

will be viewed as "it's a scam."

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Getting bookmarks commercially is a quick path back to your clone station, especially in nullsec or W-space. Even if you're not trying to set up a gank and really do want to sell pre-explored access to money-making ventures, it would take a really long time for you to develop trust publically and have the whole operation be worthwhle. About the same time you do, is when the griefers start going out of their way to make trouble for you and your customers. The scale that would be necessary to turn this into a profitable niche would also limit this little "profession" to a handful of people. What happens when someone else scans and sells a bookmark to the same site you did? Angry people with spaceships, that's what.

It's much more lucrative to run the site you found yourself. If it's beyond your means at this time, there are many other ways to make money in EVE until you are able to. The bookmark trade brought the server to its knees a few years ago and insta-warp BMs had to be erased en masse. In the long-term, I see this problem creeping up again as privately distributed bookmark copies long since expired in usefulness slowly build. We can't trust everyone to be a neat-freak with their People & Places tab. The new corporation bookmarks have quantity limits and this forces regular purges of expired BMs.
