I just bought the AOC U3477PQU, an outstanding monitor, wqhd resolution and 21:9 aspect ratio for those jaw dropping moments. This is how Jita undock looks like now

Nothing much to say there, this is the best upgrade I ever made and would have made my EVE a bazillion times better if only there was some native support for such a definition. I don't know if it happen even in 16:9 1440p screens but all the icons, all the texts, chat, menus, overview..... it looks blurred, just like that: http://i.imgur.com/0Ajh6E9.jpg. I already tried playing with my monitor setting of course, gamma, sharpness, nvidia control panel, windows setting, it's all perfect in desktop mode and in other games too. In EVE I had to bump the UI res to 150% but this makes the blur to explode. At 125% it's less but text is barely readable. Menus are ok since I can scale the fontsize but that setting doesn't affect local, overview and all the other texts in BPO's, skill tree..... anywhere. I'll prolly have to stick with res at 125% though coz really at 150% it all look creepy, especially fonts are too long, blurred and over stretched. I never liked these new ones in comparison to the old but now this new monitor has brought the problem to its limits.

Anyone else confirms at 1440p things got borked? Any fixes? CCP please 1080p are dead, offer more scaling options, different ones and FOR ODIN'S SAKE give us (back) some decent fonts!!!

Rant's over, will go back roaming and dropping my jaw around o7

I don't see blur?

That ringing in your ears you're experiencing right now is the last gasping breathe of a dying inner ear as it got thoroughly PULVERISED by the point roaring over your head at supersonic speeds. - Tippia

Turn off AA in your driver and ingame.
Check if you really have full resolution set.
Switch to window mode.
Don't use borderless window.

Report back.

@solecist: work in progress but I was already in window and max res. Taking few screenshots now.

Dunno why but I tried to see if switching from windowed to fullscreen mode fixed that. It didn't. But coming back to window did!! \o/

I'm sure you can tell the difference looking at the previous pic and how overview looks now: http://i.imgur.com/rqn2u0f.jpg

I pop'd my head out to take a couple of shoots to show how the UI at 150 looks compared to 125 and saw a big party going on

Search for text blurred on Google, it's a common issue.

I use a 1440p monitor aswell, and I have no such issue.

Have two 16:9 monitors and two days ago this puppy arrived

Now it is still 1080p classified(2560x) 75hz(possibly 80hz OC) but screen real state went up..... still drooling.

16:9

21:9

Ultra wide is a way to go especially in eve where there's never enough room for showing all the things in decent size.

You choke behind a smile a fake behind the fear
