Hey guys,

Looking for a coder to write a pretty basic program for me,
I need basically an excel/program sheet that can read from export files,
cache reading would be a bonus but file exports would be just as good if not faster.

it would be very basic comparing the file export prices calculating taxes, profit per unit,volume and total costs.

i am happy to pay for this service,
price negotiable and will be discussed.

you are probably better of checking the eve technology lab sub-forums, seeing as all the developers tend to be there. Chances are that what you seek has already been made at least 30 times in 5 different languages for 3 different platforms.

Personally not interested, if I wanted to accumulate ISK by doing boring work for other people I'm better off just buying plex.

although i have seen a few attempts at the kind of tool i am looking for, each attempt has been done wrong for what i am looking for. and focus on the wrong data

Dunno kinda busy, what data is it you want extracted, do you need the data stored for historical comparison or is current data enough, Are you happy with output to a html doc as I have no time to learn to interface with XL ?


Also note it is the silly season and work on the project wouldn't even start till early January if I felt it was something I could lend a hand with.

Hi. Is there any way we might be able to get a streaming output of your incoming data? EVE Metrics had an AMQP feed, EVE Central has a really nice bone-standard mailing list that sends an email out with the last minute's CSV once a minute, you could do any of this or an IRC or XMPP chat bot, or webhooks or some kind of PubSubHubbub poster, I'm not really picky about how.

sorry for the lack of replies, i had been in contact with someone when i first posted about this, but he has since not been online,

in regard to what data i wish to have within the program, i would like to keep that of the forums, cause explaining what i want basicaly would give away to much IMO.

price of program isn't an issue, currently making excess of 500+ per day,

after speaking with the guy the other day we concluded that an advanced spreadsheet with uploadable data from eve cache files would have been fine, but tbh i'm happy with any program software etc, that you guys are comfortable using is fine with me as long as i have a few features.

privet cache uploads, item list compiled from uploads, shopping list for future cache uploading,calculations needed to determine what i'm going to trade and profit tax etc etc, sure there a couple more things but this is the main stuff.

convo me ingame please, if i'm afk drop me a EVEmail, and i'll get back to you.
also i understand its Christmas/new year, but would prefer someone who is quite active.
if you login only on weekends, then don't convo unless you can complete the project within that time.
