Still no joy for my CTD issues with 1.03. Happens everytime I undock. I CTD and get the message:

"Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x00000039 at address 0x737f71d5. Do you wish to debug?"

I answer yes, open up the Eve client again, log in again, and I'm floating around in space.

MacBook Pro 6.2

Total Cores 2
L2 Cache per core 256k
L3 Cache 4 MB
Memory 4 GB
OS OS X 10.6.8
Kernal version Darwin 10.8.0

I had no issues prior to Crucible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I suffered no problems with crucible until the fuel block patch came out (i think), now i get completely random freezes, as i run multiple clients i can see my frozen character still appears online and active until i force quit.
Crashes seem to hold no logical pattern, random time length to freeze, random actions to freeze. Sometimes i can freeze within seconds of logging in, other times i can play for an hour or more, and i always freeze if i'm away from my computer for any length of time.

^^^^This

The two major crashtypes seem to be a Graphical Freeze (character stays logged in/in space, but you're not in control) and a quiet CTD (in windowed mode, the window just disappears). Both have been affecting a wide variety of hardware configurations, neither lead Cider to produce crash logs, both act up at random, and sometimes different clone clients from the same main client seem to have different susceptibilities.

Don't know if anything was done or not but I've just undocked twice with no ill effects.

Update: I spoke too soon. First the screen freeze then the CTD described above. Cry

Does CCP even look at Mac client bugreports? It seems they completely ignore it.

I've reported a bug with complete steps to reproduce and detailed description of my hardware two weeks ago at https://bugs.eveonline.com with id 122509 and it is still marked as "Not Filtered".

Also ship spinning doesn't work for me, when I'm at the station ship is just stalled and can't be rotated. Ship spinning in Fitting window works though.

I've had freezing issues since last patch. I used the downloadable installer to reinstall - You keep your settings/ui - Now I've been running three clients stable for hours.

My guess the patching was corrupt on some system for some reason. Anyway, for those having trouble, it's worth a try.

Good luck and fly safe.

EDIT Dec 27:

Well, indeed i managed to fly for hours after reinstall. But today, I've spent four relogs just to warp to another system, not counting the freezes in station. It's quite annoying this is happening in the holidays, where I was looking forward to spend some quality e-spaceship time.

I do hope it gets fixed soon. Alternative is to install Bootcamp, but in that case I rather cancel my accounts. I do like to have EVE clients running while working.

Well that's sad, CCP talked me into reactivating my account and checking the latest and greatest expansion - but I have to echo the other folks here, basically it's completely unplayable. I'm just standing in the captain's quarters trying to review my certificates and start training again, but after five minutes or so the UI becomes completely unresponsive and I have to hit opt-cmd-ESC to go back to the desktop, with no crash logs or anything. Glad I could make myself a new avatar, at least.

I paid only up to Jan 4th. I think I'll give CCP another couple of months to fix these things. I understand that if I cancel my subscription I should still be able to reactivate it later without losing my characters when/if the Mac client becomes usable again, as it used to be, right?

I have recently noticed the inability to spin my ship, but my wife can't on her PC so I guess my Mac isn't the issue. Was it turned off when I wasn't looking?

Maybe "load station environment" got turned off? I the esc menu? This happened to a fellow alliance member the other day too, and that was the issue.
