Do you see A on the market?
No.

Why?
Because people are buying B anyway.

Would people rather buy A? Of course!
Do they buy B anyway, because there is no A?
Yep!

Of course it's a bit different compared to having a store and stock ...
... but the basics apply. No need for A when people buy B anyway.

And there's no need for plastic balls to hang on the trailer hitch of my truck, but someone made them and people buy them in droves. Just because there is no need for a product doesn't mean someone won't make it.

And if they make it, some idiot will buy it.

Sometimes necessity is the mother of invention.
And sometimes it's the other way round.

My girlfriend is waiting for rubber... uh... flaps.. to put on the trailer hitch of her truck.
I think she's tired of me borrowing it. (It has a V8 that weighs as much as an entire electric car)

As I said.
Prove sufficient demand and they will listen.

Well it could be argued that you can demonstrate interest by buying the closest thing. CCP then realises that there is demand for that type of product, leading to the production of new variants.

No, because that removes any need to produce it,
because people buy the other one anyway.

See above.

The point is to show that the demand for an eye patch A
is higher than demand for eyepatch B.

People in this thread show that they happily buy B
and that there is no need for A.

I'm not argueing against it, btw,
just explaining why it's not happening and how to possibly make it happen.

You are unable to see your eye patch because you mistakenly put it over your good eye.

This is not a signature.

An eyepatch would be cool. I don't like the current eye thingamobobs. They are ugly and weird, they look tacked on. Probably a result of having to work with such large variation in face structure. I suspect a decent looking eyepatch would be hard to do.
