I am just going to say it, my 8 year old has drawn better flow charts / assembly lines than that. It's utterly ridiculous how the reactions work on POS towers, that needs an massive upgrade. Why can't it look like the new manufacturing interface.

Troll away,

But if you have experience with the reactions in the pos system I undoubtedly feel you will agree with me. The aesthetics just down right suck

Yeah, it sucks.

CCP will get to it when they do away with POSes entirely like they talked about less than a month ago.

Completely agreed. A visual UI for POS reactions would make a lot more sense, and it probably wouldn't take up much space. Just do away with the reactions themselves, and let us select what to produce from a drop-down list.

After having set up and managing a dozen reaction towers I don't really get why people don't understand the reaction overview.

What is so hard on dragging one icon over the other icon to determine what goes where?

The icons even change colour if you did it right, to show you the connection. How much more handholding do you need?

You need some brainpower to set up posses for optimal use of silos and reactors, especially with the 3x input reactions, but I don't really see a reason for this to be simplified. It gives people a lot of room to fiddle with their preferences in pos setups.

I like how reactions are different from any other production activity in eve, it keeps things diverse and it feels much more like managing an industrial process, than the boring click and recieve bacon production industry.

Baddest poster ever

There are two unwritten rules of reactions that often trip people up:
* The colours are meaningless. [Red doesn't mean something is wrong.]
* Loops are forbidden.

Aside from those, I've not found people to have problems with reactions.

Of course one needs to know how to drag-and-drop to connect stuff (not obvious), and that the process occurs hourly on the tower tick (also not obvious).

Of course towers are going away, so CCP will never fix.

Even with towers going away, it would be nice if they updated the reactions, since they are gonna bust out new configurations.
