Lots going on!

To OP: I agree. How DARE people have fun with this game. It's sers meta bizness not to be taken lightly. EVE is real enough as it is.

CONCORD in game terms is not really how CONDORD should be thought of story wise. Yes their ships are good but there is a reason they call on US to handle Sansha incursions.

Empires are losing their grip on capsuleers. That's a running theme in EVE. Capsuleers control more space than the Empires do.

I, too, take everything the Mittani does literally.

EVE expects no less. Otherwise everybody would suffer from a severe interdiction of grrrr.

What is this fanfest or reddit you speak of? Searching the holo nets I am unable to find any reference to any of what you are talking about.

Same. Context please.

Why? I said everything there was to say. He was talking about RP and real world stuff, and they don't mix. So I was giving him a RP response.

Hm....

That ringing in your ears you're experiencing right now is the last gasping breathe of a dying inner ear as it got thoroughly PULVERISED by the point roaring over your head at supersonic speeds. - Tippia

As a role playing coalition .... maybe it would be right of the Amarr Empire to send a few ships to help their colony. One of those super sized titans that make the regular titans look like a frigate + support.

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

Flashbacks are a myth created by J. Edgar Hoover who was mad 'cause we all got to see him in his dress. Big smile

The funniest part about this whole thing, is ...

And without CONCORD ...
... the "empires" can go pack their bags.

Are you sure about that? Isn't it recently in Luminaire where the Caldari navy gave the finger to Concord and wrecked one of their battleship?
That story is being spread inaccurately.

Now I can't say I fully remember the story ...
... but I remember a few inputs of people.

Like, how it was a ship from CONCORD,
which doesn't necessarily mean it was one of those uber-ships that kills criminals.

There are even missions out there where you go and shoot CONCORD ships ...
... but these too aren't the CONCORD we know from highsec.

CONCORD is an organisation.
They reacted to an offense towards a member of their organisation.

That's how I got to know it.

How i understand concord is that they have reletavely crappy ships, but the reason they seem/are so effective/powerful is because jove gave them the capsuleer control button™ that can shutdown capsuleers, in "reality" you don't get jammed, neuted, scrammed or shot when concord lands, you actually get shutdown and selfdistructed

Edit: I retract the above nonverbal utterance. After seeing the photos from the Fanfest cosplay competition, it looks kind of fun.
