Launcher in Offline Mode

Same here. I think it started yesterday. After starting the launcher two or three times I can connect.
I've also had intermittent problems connecting to the website.

I had problems for a few days. Launcher would freeze when i run it the first time. Second time it went good. Today i also have the launcher offline/server offline message.

So far on 3 seperate loggins...each time i have to slowly convince the launcher that the servers are infact online. (3+ launcher restarts each time) CCP, you've done something on your end me thinks...this can't be only something on my end...

Same here...also strange long loading times, sometimes launcher after logging in just black out the left part and the buttons and fields disappears and I need to close it and restart it Sad Repair.exe after launch just shows some failed attempts to delete some files, completely useless Sad

Ok I found the solution (for me).


Go to internet setings advanced and click on TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2

The should be activated allready.


This worked for me at least.

Those were allready on for me.

CCP - please ask the owners of ams1.vrsn.net to feed there hamsters. I guess someone / some ware knows how many connections come in via this uplink provider, given a few of us cannot connect.

For people who cannot connect - run a tracert, and include it in a ticket to there ISP.

Hats off to Tesco mobile (aka O2) for providing a playable experience via my Windows Phone hotspot.

I have the same problems for a month now, seen reports in issues and workarounds part of forum.

I am in offline mode too now untill I solve my irl logistics due to moving.

I hope this will get solved soon, finally started to do pvp with several public fleets, and I am hooked and it sucks to get socket closed in the middle of nowhere in null while your fleet just pointed poor thanatos few jumps ahead and you hear it all on coms but you cant log back in. Tears.

After I had thrown away my obviously defective computer someone told me I could simply click on the "restart launcher" option on the offline launcher or in Windows start EvE using the exefile in CCP > eve > bin > exefile and then easily create a desktop shortcut to that exefile by right clicking it and choosing send > desktop(create shortcut). Oops. Welp, when I get another computer I'll probably do that.

My Launcher went down again so I tried this and it worked. I just hope whatever is causing CCP problems gets resolved. Thank you SirElwood.

it's not DNS, but something is definitely fishy with launcher connections.

Flushed my DNS cache earlier today and the launcher just gave me offline mode again just now...

Apologies for multiple posts here. I logged out of eve due to the seemingly constant resource streaming download so I thought something was wrong. But when I Went to log back in I started to have problems again I got screen shots here of what I see. I tried to get it to launch in safe mode but it did the same thing.

I hope those are put up correctly if not well won't be my first noob mistake. lol P

Editing this because of something I forgot to put in here. The launcher problem isn't the first time but when I get the em token page is when I know something is wrong with either the connection to CCP servers or it is down entirely. however the solid white launcher screen I have gotten before when I had other problems. honestly I have been having so many problems with the launcher and they all started after the most recent release. Just not sure what is going on.

Since I am still relatively new to the game I don't know how to get all the information like others on here have provided but if someone needs it just tell me how to retrieve the info and I will gladly post it. I love playing eve and if I can help make it better or just help fix a problem I would be more than happy to help.

Mine's been doing it 2-3 days. Very annoying.

Also after the latest patch... waiting 2-3 minutes to be able to play is annoying as hell when it's checking shared resources or something like that...

Been around since the beginning.

Also affects IGB for eve gate. First time I opened IGB today it said it couldn't reach the server.

Jesus christ CCP please fix it. It is annoying. We all know you are getting DDOS but to take our money and saying your servers are powered up and technicly connected to the internet is not a good way to do business. You can not simply say we don't give a crap if our paying costumers can not actionally reach our servers.

Take TQ offline or do whatever but do something. This is going on for several days now.
Thanks to your amazing launcher (read stupid) it is not even possible to bypass it with the evefile.exe in the bin foulder. Because then your normal settings are not getting loaded .....

So please unfuck your **** or take TQ offline.
