New Anchoring and Structure Skills

Hey everyone!

As you might recall, this devblog entry provided us with much material to look forward to.

Of particular interest are the proposed structural management/anchoring skills dependant on Anchoring III.

I'd like to hear your opinion on these possible new skills.

In my opinion, they should be put in a new skill-group, together with Anchoring and Starbase Defense Management, which should be removed from the Corporation Management group.

Additionally, the should have memory and intellegence as primary and secondary attribute, instead of memory and charisma.

Erm... I can't find anything on new skills in the blog(s). Have a link or a quote?

Most of my characters have Anchoring 5, and Starbase Defense 4 or 5 (or are currently training 5).

Starbase Defense anchoring prerequisite was lowered to 4 recently (Crius I think).

There was mention of no longer having automated defenses, so the Starbase Defense skill may become more popular.

Take a look at the example pictures for the different structure groups. They show both the progression through different sizes (S to XL) and a progression of different skills.

I'm referring to the pics designed to resemble ISIS.

It's only logical. With platforms becoming like ships and havin different classes you need different skills to "steer" these different classes of "ships."
