Learn how to trade and make money first. I make about 7 million Isk a day for about 5 minutes of making orders. I will make more and more as my capital grows.

Wait, wait, wait 7 mill a day? And you're giving ADVICE?!?! Seriously, come back when you're up at the 250m to half bill mark to even start giving market advice please.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned it but there's also exploration! Doing data/relic sites can make decent isk and is more involving then mining.

Low/Null/WH exploration can be very lucrative but will involve combat as they can be contested.

Honestly, solo mining is the general the LEAST profitable profession and I don't recommend it.....unless....

If you run your own mining fleet., then mining is the one of the MOST profitable profession, as no other isk income scales so well with the number of accounts you have. To add to that, once you have your miners fully trained for their task into you then take said accounts and train up characters that will be bound for the character bazaar.

As for boring..yes and no. When you run your own mining fleet. Ever tried keeping multiple hulk ore holds from filling up? Not always an easy task. If your solo mining, use a mack or skiff, Netflix it up and pick a roid...I recommend Daredevil, it's only 1 season long but it's pretty good.
