I have a few Trade Secrets of my own about which I'll give a general idea of later on.


For those who would like to find out, you'll notice practical they are in the long run.

I'm not going to share what my actual secrets to trading are, because that would be stupid, but a key point in your trading is that you should always be trading in a margin you understand. You have to know how the items are made, what stuff is used to make them, how often they are produced, as well as who sells them, how often people buy the items you're trading, as well as where and when the best times to sell them are. Trade in commodities that you understand the production and consumption of better than most people that either create or consume it do.

In particular know whether production can be scaled up with additional capital or effort, and how much ramp up time is needed.

That may or may not include how they are hidden, depending...

I still find it funny, that people think if you tell a secret to 1 other person, its still a secret.

Just imagine putting it into a forum post.

As for technically keeping a trade secret or other secret as secret after sharing it with one person, it is possible.

It's possible, yes, but under certain conditions.

The secret wouldn't remain secret, if the person told the secret to, wasn't associated in some way .


Secondly, Trade Secrets are registered every day and are still kept secret.
They are told or communicated with the office that register those Trade secret.
Of course, other secrets than Trade Secret have different level of security and conditions.

But as for Trade Secrets , yes, they have to be told to one person to be registered as Trade Secret.
Before that, they are merely nothing more than a secret, whether personal or other.


Another thing that I meant by benefit in general from a Trade Secret was :
- what did the Trade Secret allowed you or the Player to benefit from?
- what did the Trade Secret allowed you or the Player to benefit others?

I mean, what benefit did it bring to the table?


In other words, where does the secret becomes more of an hindrance than a benefit?
