I was docked splitting a stack when Eve freezes up. Force Quit. Now I can hear the sounds and even select my toon, blindly, because the screen it's black. I've rebuilt the permissions, restarted several times, lock the App Nap on the client, but nothing.
Any suggestions?.

try clearing the caches in launcher app

I did trying clearing the caches, negative results. Waste the whole 15GB thing and started from scratch, it worked nicely. And my EVE client is now only 8GB, which is great considering my poor MacBook Air 120GB is almost full.
I'm more than ok now, and tyvm for the advise.
