If you had two accounts to play at once, what ships would you fly for lvl4s?

Currently I'm doing lvl4s in a Mach in Amarr space. On a free day I can make 400-500mill isk worth of LP from blitzing missions.

I still want to spend even less time doing missions and making isk even faster (cause I want to spend more time blowing up the earned isk instead).

I have tried using an alt I have that could fly BCs to help me with this, and it worked out pretty well, especially with helping to clear out frigates, but how much further can I take it?

Would you fly BS+BS instead?
BS+Logi?
BS+Tier3 BC?
Some other combo?

I can either train my alt for this role or see if I can buy a character cheaply on the character bazaar that has the right skills.

Anyone do their lvl4 grinds with two accounts can share what method they've found to be the fastest?

Edit: I don't think that having a second account be a salvaging slave will improve my income by a lot. I think it's a lot more isk if you simply blitz every mission for the LP reward instead.

Sentry drones? What kind of DPS are we talking about here? Looking around battleclinic, this fit seems to be the highest damage fit, and only then just barely reaches over 900dps.

Also, I didn't mention that I don't have good drone skills, so that approach is out of the question anyway, unless they don't take a long time to train.

2x NM Amar space. 2x Mach anywhere else.

I have found a tengu + BS combo to be the most effective for me. Currently in amarr so Tengu and NM. Tengu is maybe not so great in Amarr space but it is also my tank, so it still works very well for me. Tengu has 6l and 3 CN BCS and can tank all the rooms I have found so far. I don't pay attention to triggers. I have used a Tengu and Golem pair in other regions, also works well. Can't use T2 AC's so no idea how well a mach would work, but have tried a tengu and maelstrom with meta 4 1400 arties which also worked out OK. I have tried a Tengu and domi with t2 garde's, seemed to be a bit slower than other pairs.

So I would recommend a T3 and BS pair.

The T2 sentry Dominix is attractive at first due to the lack of attention it requires: just warp in, deploy drones, "assist" the Tengu.

It does lack in DPS compared to a shiny battleship with all the best DPS and weapon mods, using the best available ammo, but the Dominix has the advantage of requiring little attention. That means less Alt+Tabbing, less button clicking, less futzing around with ammo. There is a very definite trade-off of course, but that's life in EVE.

I would use a battleship over a tier 3 battlecruiser any day: the Oracle has decent DPS, but it has no tank and you will lose it the moment anything goes wrong (if you pop a trigger in the wrong order, or just get distracted from the computer for a minute by a cat drowning in the toilet bowl, etc).

I figure that a passive rattlesnake with sentries + mach would be one of the better setups. Rattler jumps in, agros everything , mach enters with full gank fit. Sentries are assigned to assist the mach, should make quick work of anything and everything.

Edit: Mach should also be carrying an afterburner as well, to get into better range of the targets and to beable to get out of range if anything goes wrong (recommended a pair of mission specific harderners and an extender in the mids to improve longeevity under fire

So the rattlesnake tanks, and the mach does DPS. How much DPS do the sentries from the rattlesnake add?

to optimize L4's I thought about, what are my bottlenecks?

personally it's the time to get to the mission and back, and how long it takes to kill the frigs.

Having tried a few combinations (t3's, CS's, marauders and pirate BS's) I settled on dual autocannon fitted machs. They dont need drones so much at the end of a room to unlock the next acc gate, you're usually able to lock / pop frigs as they spawn.

That's not to say two sets of your own light drones wont shred the remaining frigs - they will - but if you can one-shot them while they approach, that's time saved.

One monitor - 2 tach nightmares (keep guns grouped, the slower cycle time means you don't miss things when alt tabbing... alternatively, 2 arty ships for even more time available to alt-tab in).

Two monitors - 2 AC mach's - just spit out death, tell one to kill battleships, the other to kill frigs-cruisers.

The lazy way - 2 domi's/rattlesnakes with ogre 2's, RR, drone nav computers and omni's. Fit an aggro gun in the high, set RR on each other, aggro whole room, go afk, come back in a bit to dead room. The ogre's with 2 nav computers and 2 omni's are nearly as fast and almost track as well as unbonused hobgoblins, while doing about 4x the dps. You also have the option to drop sentries if you're paying a bit more attention, or everything is at range.

The semi-lazy way - take a rattlesnake or a domi, send it in to grab aggro, drop heavy drones, bring in mach, set drones from mach to assist domi, kill stuff with mach.

The big issue here is how good you are at paying attention to multiple things at once. If you are really good at it, the best way to run missions with 2 accts is in 2 seperate missions. The afk domi/rattlesnake has the advantage of the least effort invested. But per character, you will probably make more with 1 character then 2 in a mission. But a second mach is always nice to speed things up.
