I just got back to EvE after a long break. Started doing some lvl4 missions to get some feeling for combat again and i wanted to reprocess the scrap i gathered, just to see that i would only get 50% out of it. I thought, "well there must be some new thing to this, so lets get some info" After a little search i found the needed skills and thats where i facedesked really hard.

What genius came up with the idea, that i need a Science skill at lvl 5! (which actually has nothing to do with reprocessing but manufacturing and takes 2 weeks to get to lvl 5) just to learn a skill to get some better results at a basic task like scrapmetal processing? What the ever loving F?

im pretty sure reprocessing stuff requires some sort of scientific knowledge and im sure a scientist could get more resources from a reprocessing operation than an unscientist?. goddammit why do i need leadership 5 for fighters when they do what they want anyway *sadface

Domination Nephilim - Angel Cartel

Calm down miner. As you pointed out, people think they can get away with stuff they would not in rl... Like for example illegal mining... - Ima Wreckyou*

You are missing the point, scrapmetal or worthless modules are materials you get from the very beginning and to reprocess it effectively, you need to spend two weeks skill time for it. I wouldnt mind skilling Metallurgy to 4 but why do i need it on 5?

Fighters on the other hand are cap/supcap skills. Those should need more time to learn.

Heaven forbid that you have to take 2 whole weeks to actually be at maximum efficiency for something!!! What were those bastards thinking?
