Please, carry on. By Kim-haani's statement, you're doing a stellar job of interdicting all traffic in Okkamon.

I would kindly ask disgraced Priano to not mention my name.

Liberated. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Reitsato will be liberated when all gallenteans in that system will be eradicated.
Care to kill yourself in that system?

Are we doing it less effectively, or are we simply waiting for more Intel on the other ships so we can produce the best of them? We shall see.....

On a completely different note, Kim's dislike of Makoto just raised my opinion of Ms. Priano.

I don't think I have stated my attitude to her here clearly, but that you have raised opinion of a known dishonored liar (which can be supported by evidence for anyone who can search this forum), speaks a lot about you as a gallentean.

Reitsato has been liberated, in between numerous engagements with the Caldari State Protectorate, Snuffbox, and other military organizations inside the region. 771 ships have been destroyed in the past 24 hours, and 170 ships have been destroyed in the past hour alone.

We are coming for Okkamon.

The only thing this farcical proclamation would achieve, were it anything but words, would be the more expedient release of limited licenses to produce the Jackdaw to T3D producers. This is of course very much in the interests of the capsuleer industrial population and of special interest to key elements of the 24th IC and SPROT militias who will benefit every bit as much as anyone else from the release of designs to the public market.

I'd thank you for your service, but as you're a grandstanding disgrace I'll reserve that for those who actually contribute to progress in the cluster.

I get this feeling from the comments here that people here aren't very sure what the military does or what it is for other than zipping about being evil.

Military might is an extension of politics (and must return to politics). I think this is a fairly basic tenant everyone here has probably come across once or twice. It's easy to forget, when feeling attacked or just generally appalled by an action. I can't fault anyone for that. One hopes policy makers on both sides remember it. But you know who has forgotten it? CONCORD. If there's some institution or side to be furious with, it is the Star - the supposed face of law.

I'm increasingly frustrated by Capsuleers, who certainly know better, slinging mud at each other over an issue whose fault is very obvious. It's transparent that people use activity in the War Powers Act to further Nationalistic agendas and stir sentiment. I find it appalling; it undermines the issues actually at hand and furthers justification of the conflict. It's purely emotional and helps no one.

I also cannot understand that people are still surprised the militia is comprised of mostly pirates. I don't have to like it, the Eleutherian Guard does not have to like it, and you don't have to like it, but it is true until CONCORD says otherwise. All of our militias are like this. This is not really a talking point. Pirates are going to pirate, and there is very little any of us can do about any of our most remiss. CONCORD sees fit to allow this sort of activity within the ranks of our institutions, probably for padding. The Eleutherian Guard does not admit the type, for example, and our ranks prove comparatively small for it.

Further, anyone who sees an operational document and expects its contents to be happening concurrently doesn't realize what these documents are actually for. Expect it to take a couple of days at least or be backdated at least that much. Does the Caldari Militia not issue these...?!

The final thing is the consideration of why OpSec would have been violated so early in the first place this time, when I have an inbox full of these.

Firstly, if Soter has good reason to believe the Jackdaw is present at this system, then it would be militarily remiss to ignore that intelligence, which seems to be so widely known it was reported on The Scope. Not planning an Operation would be next to impossible. Releasing a document saying 'we will act' really should not be surprising anyone. A military currently at war has no choice but to move against visible arming. This isn't about anyone's feelings about aggression or any current diplomatic talks. Those discussions can proceed regardless of operations. Diplomatic discussions are much larger and take far more into account than a single Operation over a tactical target that now everyone and literally their mother knows about.

But more importantly, because of the need to move against this particular target and the severity of our lockdown of the system, leadership is organizing and encouraging humanitarian aid to this system for Civilians. I would hope some Capsuleers - if such Capsuleers even browse these angry forums - would pick up the torch and provide aid, regardless of what side they are on, whether they agree with the mobilization or not. Again, this is not a matter of what should be happening but what is. To sling mud at leadership or the militia at large is a waste of your time when a venue for helping is open to you. Leadership saw fit to release this information, likely not for a single purpose but for several. To tinfoil why and not accept crucial information when it is presented seems short-sighted.

Please consider helping and aim your vitriol at CONCORD for refusing to lift or change the way this war works. To tell any side that they are bad or evil for not putting down weapons first shows a misunderstanding of how the entire process works. CONCORD understands it - and they are putting all of our people in danger for it.

No.

Consider a full retreat from the Rise and do it now.

Until such a time as Soter pulls his forces out of Black Rise, we the residents will consider the presence of any Gallente citizen to mean the individual is engaging in espionage. They will be treated accordingly. Man, woman, child. Any Gallente in any Black Rise system without the proper State clearance will be taken as a prisoner of war and charged as a spy.

You and yours will not dictate terms in our home Soter.

You seem like a nice fellow, Lafisques. Let me spell this out for you.

The Caldari are well aware of how military actions work, and how the military ought conduct itself. The State is a significantly more militarized society than your Federation, after all, as we did have to fight for our independence from Gallente hegemony over a century ago.

Even I, one of those lily-livered Liberals, have had basic training and performed my mandatory period of State service. It might have been ages since I've had to break down a rifle with a drill instructor yelling at me, but rest assured that I do still have a sidearm in my locker that I periodically service.

That said, what we mock is this: that Soter puts this in terms of a 'dramatic escalation,' an 'unsettling report,' when Maker knows we were all invited to contribute to our respective nation's research in late YC116, when all of us knew very well that each state is developing next-generation destroyers to bolster their navies. Clearly, then, Caldari intransigence is in doing what everyone else is doing, and in doing it better than the Gallente. Even more hilarious is that Soter then bristles and grumbles about how he's a better nationalist by having ignored his Federation's call for support. This, from a man who was a reputation for commanding fleets, cloaked, a hundred kilometers away. No wonder the Federation came last!

By all means. Carry on fighting and invading sovereign Caldari territory, saving Caldari people from their cruel Caldari overlords, prancing about talking about freedom and liberation of a people from themselves, and then telling us we don't know what we're talking about when we laugh in your face for being drunk on your own dogma.
