Joining an alliance that has the name of being exclusively comprised of station campers or fixated on a specific area makes for some funny looks of surprise right before we take a dump on our target's party.

First, I applaud you trying pvp. Welcome to the C&P board.

As you invited, I checked your KB on Eve-Kill.

I do see the bit about the isk efficiency, but I honestly don't think you would enjoy Marmite. At 10 kills, I doubt you are ready for that lifestyle.

As you PvP more, I think you will find that the shooting is about a quarter of the game, the laughing and interacting with other players is the other 75%.

As for whether Marmites are just station campers:

I was in the Orphanage for a while (which I'm assuming is comparable to Marmites ... and the Privateer alliance before it) and yes, there were some no-talent-ass-clowns who did nothing but sensor-boost and alpha-shoot in Jita. Yes, they are very visible because everyone sees them in Jita.

However, there were also hard core players with solid foundations in maneuver and damage mechanics who were no fun for anyone to fight.

I know at least a few of the old orphanage players who still play... and most of them are in Marmites. They can station hump with the best of them... but that's not all they have.

You should try more pvp, could be fun.

Can confirm we are all station hub huggers. You will never see one of us off one of the main 5 station hubs in high-sec. You may freely travel all of eve so long as you don't go to a hub while at war with us as we will never find you or have the balls to come kill you as leaving the station is strictly forbidden.
