[Auction] Docked Nyx

I am auctioning off a docked Nyx. This was won in the 1ronbank stream.

Proof of ownership can be found here.

EDIT: The nyx contains 3x Large Trimark Armor Pump II's. This shows that the Nyx was pre-rig change as it should have capital sized rigs. I have posted the fitting here.

out of curiosity why is a docked nyx worth more than an undocked, and why not undock it?

Because under normal circumstanced it cannot be docked, and thus if you undock it, you will never be able to dock it again.

Can we get clarification if this sale is allowed from CCP / ISD? This looks like a super that was reimbursed from a loss mail. From my understanding of the rules you cannot resale a reimbursed super while it remains docked.

I have sent in a support ticket to ccp about it will post here when I get a reply.

Pretty sure it is legal, it is only illegal in high-sec

Relaying GM replies in public is against the EULA. Thus why I asked if we can get an official reply here.

Please don't. I have relayed the question to CCP myself for a definitive decision on the matter. It either gets published here by a GM or by none at all. Those are the forum rules.

I have also again removed an off topic post. Please people, the question is not whether it is legal to sell a high sec based Nyx, because this specific one is not docked in high-sec. Otsela is a 0.4 low-sec system.

Otsela is 0.4 (low-sec) system, where the Nyx is docked. It is legal to sell it there and is more valuable docked, but its pilot won't be able to redock once that nyx undocks.

there was once packaged nidhoggur in highsec, some1 repacked it and ccp moved it to lowsec after they noticed someone did this,..

Super Capitals wind up being docked in two sets of circumstances;

1 - If the ship is lost, and then reimbursed by a GM or member of the Dev team.

2 - If the account the character flying the nyx is on is INACTIVE and de-subbed for 6 months or more.



Both of these require the ship to me 'moved' to a station via either manual or automated actions of the CCP team. Due to the fact there is no in-game way of being able to dock a super-capital via ingame means/mechanics, your ship is worth the going market rate.

What does ccp call "inactive?"


Unsubbed. After 6 months unsubbed, they used to move you (and the ship you were flying) to your home station. This included supercaps. They no longer do this for supers.
