You might want to update your security protocols when it comes to visitors. I'd consider visitor carrying potentially harmful compounds quite high risk regardless of intent or lack there of.

Why would I disable a security feed? Seems rather foolish on my part.

Security protocols have been upgraded as mentioned in the initial statement by miss Starfall.

Oh for crying out loud, why would he tell her what was in it?! Just jab her with the fuckin' thing. It's not that difficult.

Good to see it all worked out though!

I told her what was in it because I had no intention of using it. This incident was in fact self-defense against Lasa Raske. She first locked down the conference room, switching off the video feed and after a few minutes of discussion she threatened me, and I claimed I was armed with my improvised weapon. She responded by drawing a Minmatar blade and threatening to use it. My supposed accomplish was in fact a contact of mine who had come to put on a display of theatrics to help calm the situation down. This was not the case, as when my associate entered Lasa activated the security footage having us circle her with weapons while she was armed, making it look as though we had made the first move. We were then both littered with bullets without even a chance to explain.

My formal apologies have been submitted to Jeniffer Starfall and most of the major staff of Repracor Industries. And as to Zenariae, I hope this do not disturb our dealings with the art I bought.

See, she had it right. You don't use syringes filled with corrosives, you just carry your knife.

Sadly yes, but as he's a capsuleer it seems the main casualty is his pride and reputation, which he's now attempting to recover by any means necessary

I wish to take this opportunity to reiterate.
For those wishing to relax in a neutral environment, my venue is perfectly safe and tolerant of all visitors.
If you attempt to smuggle in weapons or harm others, there does my tolerance end.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, you got played.

1) if you have a weapon and don't intend on using it, shut up about it.

2) If you don't intend on starting trouble don't put yourself in a position that looks like trouble.

3) If you find yourself in trouble, shoot first.

Um. I don't ... of course ... run the place, but in my experience, firmly not.

Nor are outside security personnel, even if unarmed.

I'm uncertain where the lack of clarity lies.

Weapons, whether purpose-built or improvised, are not allowed to be brought into The Elysion. Patrons and visitors violating this policy will be dealt with in a manner appropriate to the situation.

Acts of violence, whether or not they are claimed to be in self defense, are also not tolerated inside The Elysion. Visitors violating this policy will be removed from the premises and banned at the discretion of the management.

It bears noting that the incident on 117-04-08 was only the second time The Elysion has found it necessary to enforce these policies. This would indicate that the clear majority of the patrons of The Elysion understand and, by some extension, appreciate these policies.

If there is a further need from clarification, please contact me via EVE mail.

Actually, I find the above rule impossible to enforce. Whilst I often find myself in places where I cannot be armed, there are a number of things I carry that could be an improvised weapon that I cannot easily divest myself of. Some of these things are even, possibly, definable as purpose-built weapons - such as fists, feet and teeth.

Better to say that acts of aggression are simply not permitted and that those perpetrating them will be ejected with whatever force internal security troops deem to be appropriate. Then not quote your security regulations chapter and verse and leave people a little unsure as to the specifics. Keep 'em wondering.

Experience leads me to believe that if you provide hard and fast rules it just leads to rules lawyering.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

Mr. Tuulinen,

I am not quoting our secuity regulations, chapter and verse. I'm providing elaboration, as there appears to be uncertainty as to what "no weapons are allowed" means.

Our goal is to provide a safe environment for our patrons. A ban on violence is not sufficient. A person armed with a weapon is inclined to use it. If weapons are allowed, there will be an escalation, and patrons will feel a need to be armed, "just in case." This is not an environment we want to propagate.

We are not asking you to enforce our rules, Mr. Tuulinen, only to follow them. I understand that you are trying to be helpful; however, if you have an actual concern of running afoul of our no weapons policy, please contact me privately.

I'm pretty sure in this case, our opinion on the matter would be moot, as the Federal Navy would have a strenuous objection.

Thank you for the clarification Mrs. Starfall.

So, when Toralen said that Mrs. Raske had a minmatar blade whatever that is and then something about bullets he is flat-out lying or am I misunderstanding something?

Why would the Federation navy object? I don't think I've pissed them off that much....... Was it the tacks on Blake's chair?

They would object because they own the station that you'd be attempting to jam that battlecruiser into.
