Twas the morning of Christmas and all throughout EvE
Not a Nyx was stiring, their POS they did not leave.

The supercap pilots were all asleep in their beds.
Having nightmares about an army of dreads.

The titans were safed up, their cloaks all engaged.
Their fleet window empty, to avoid warp-to rage.

The bombers were idle, all sat in their bays.
Because supercaps are bad, mkay?

Seeing as how it's christmas why don't CCP release a patch which changes all the ship explosions to multi-colour?! :D

I was talking with one of my 0.0 buddies.

Now, EVERY bit of info in this game can be taken as bad information or propaganda, but he told me that while PL still uses their supercap fleet frequently, virtually every other major supercap fleet has been mothballed.

That may be more a factor of the NAP'ing of all Eve (except for Branch), but the fact remains supercaps won't burn because supercaps are not logged on anymore.

The supercap is still an enormously powerful weapon, but it is no longer invulnerable.
It just goes to show that all those elite PvP'ers who say "don't fly what you can't afford to lose" clearly don't believe that statement applies to supercaps...or maybe they do, and can't afford to risk something that is no longer an I-Win button.
