Whoa Veers...throwing stones now are you. I'm sure there are many who have the same opinion of you..in fact, I know there are. But that's not the point. You're going to pass judgement on someone who does the same things as you (minus the profanity, I'll give you that)? It seems a bit hypocritical to judge someone who does the same things you do, just with a different opinion. So its okay...as long as they agree with you..right? Besides, in Jonah's defense...There's much talk of him "not having a right" to mention PvP with no kb. Fine...that's just opinion. But you must also see it from the other perspective: A character of his age may not have any kills...but he also doesn't have any losses to any player..and we all know it's impossible to avoid other players for that long...so in essence, somehow, he is doing something right. Blink

If I had a nickel for every time someone said women don't play eve, I'd have a bag of nickels to whack the next person who said it..

Veers is right about one thing though, which makes a change.

I am guilty as charged of several not so polite posts aimed at him. While I still consider him to be all of the things I posted I could have been more diplomatic about it, but that wouldn't have been fun.

Don't feel too bad Jonah. I've lost my temper on Veers a couple of times in the past. I keep hoping that someday he'll mend his wicked ways, but I think I might be just too much of an optimist for my own good. I did notice that he has an actual PVP record, and it was pretty green. I just keep wondering what it was that sparked his transition to the dork side, as what he does now seems to be pretty dull in comparison to his null and lowsec antics of the past.

Mayhap that definer is the issue... null and lowsec. Last I looked he didn't have many/any high sec kills. I think this might be what's been colouring his judgment when it comes to where booms are acceptable. I think he got sold on this whole pvp there, pve here idea, whereas most of us here grok that pvp happens everywhere, pve happens where you can manage it before someone comes warping at you with a ****-eating grin and a massive erection.

I still hold out faint hopes of his eventual rehabilitation, and him subsequently coming over to the 'dark' side and sharing the joy of player interaction with others. I am not holding my breath, however.

Come hell or high water, this sick world will know I was here.

I had a great idea to support your "No Newbro Left Behind" initiative! Tengu helped come up with it! He's one smart cookie!

I was thinking we could start posting exorbitant buy orders for civilian components on the market.

That way people could farm civilian components for isk while helping retain new players! What do you think? I think we could retain players through market action!

I wonder if the dev's have considered NPC agents buying these?

What do you think? Worth a dozen plex or so?
