Atrocious performance after latest patch

Since the Scylla patch, the game performance is starting to make the game unplayable.
With one client running, I have a few, but not many, issues.
As soon as I start loading other clients (I have 6 accounts), I start getting horrendous issues.

1. Undocking: 5-20 second black screen - happens on all stations, but is worse in trade hubs
2. Warping on to grid when more than 3 people are there already, fps drops from 60 (with v-sync enabled to cap it at 60) to anywhere between 45 and 10 fps.
3. Swapping between chat tabs causes the exact same issue as #2.
4. Opening industry window causes a freeze for anything between 5 and 25 seconds with an 'eve is not responding' message popping up. If I wait it out, it generally works again, but not always.
5. Activating ship modules consistently causes frame rate drops. As does deactivating them. Heck, dont even get me started on the frame rate drops when I switch modes on a confessor....

I have enabled the downloading of all resources in the launcher, but still, the 'resource loading' icon in the bottom left is running.
100% of the time
on all clients.

I used to run 1 client at everything maxxed out graphically, and the other clients set to 'memory' in the optimisation dropdown
Now I have tried all clients at every possible choice and I still get the issue.
If I tab out of the game, I get random system slowdowns with the clients running - even if they are all docked in station or sitting in a POS with nobody else coming on grid.

SYSTEM DETAILS::

Please sort this rubbish patch out CCP. You are currently killing your main source of income - multiple accounts.
Better than that, sort out your Beta testing so that rubbish like this never reaches live.

Same issue, this last patch was horrible, it is as if they didnt even test it.

Would love to see some sort of announcement about what exactly the "resource loading" icon in the bottom left is all about.

thats because of the new download-on-demand system. For people who just installed or reinstalled the game without downloading the whole client. That symbol shows everytime when there is new content being downloaded in the background.

To the performance issues, if you not have it already, then try to run the game in "windowed" or "fixed windowed" mode. Fullscreen seems to put a huge load on the gpu (around 80-95%) for some people.

I already run the clients in fixed window mode.
I also set the launcher to download everything which resulted in a patch of over 150mb being downloaded this week.
I SHOULD have everything installed already....

Regarding performance though, my system is well capable of running multiple clients and did so flawlessly until this latest patch.
The issue is definitely NOT on my end.

Having similar multi client problems, but mine will totally crash my system after a while. Currently run up to 4 clients at one time with all settings set to performance, and each one windowed.

i7 3820 cpu @ 3.60 ghz
32g ram
GeForce 570 GTX

Edit: Never had a problem running all 4 at max before Scylla. Now even running 1 at max strains my rig.

Hi folks, sorry to hear you are having performance issues.

Can I ask you all to please submit bug reports from the client (F12/Help Menu, button at the bottom "Submit Bug Report") so I can have a look at your driver versions and logs? I haven't had any performance issues at home with 3 clients on max settings on this rig:

Win7
i5 3570K @ 3.4 GHz
8GB RAM, DDR3 @ 1600 MHz
nVidia Geforce 660ti
Kingston HyperX SSD, 250GB Sata III

Feel free to tag any bug report for my attention.

Best,

Sledgehammer.

Bug report sent from one of my other accounts.
I just uninstalled/reinstalled eve (about an hour before the logs) to no avail.
Still having the same issues.
To make it more annoying, I just lost a confessor due to the game locking up totally for about 25 seconds :(

Same issues with running multiple clients. Extremely slow start up and much lag. No problems prior to Scylla.

Hey,

same here.
- slow login, like 30 seconds to get the char selection window after login in
- undocking take 2-10 seconds of black screen
- on the test server, using missile launchers freeze the game for 1 second in a core garrison in the asteroid field
- with 100 ships on-grid the fight is very laggy, with small freezes

Everything was fine before the patch...
