So often I was told "You'll be fine living in a low-class wormhole Garr Khan, just don't **** anyone off and no one will evict you. It's a major hassle to shoot large POSes without capitals."

And yet here I am, being evicted out of a C4 after my old corp had been evicted out of a C2 only a year and a half before. Mayhaps the big blue doughnut should consider letting the smaller corps grow a bit before bringing down the hammer, thus providing opportunities for some real pew?

Not many groups would be all bored and like "Let's spend a weekend evicting some 10 man corp because we're bored."

Sure it probably happens sometimes, but chances are there's something about your system they wanted, something in your assets perhaps (leaving cap ships floating around?) or perchance you maybe actually did **** someone off?

They're a merc alliance (well, N0MEX at least). Someone prolly hired them because they wanted your system or you made them mad.

Have you tried asking them why they're evicting you?

Tbh though you need to be able to defend your home. From setting up your POS(s) well to fighting folks off. If you don't have the skill or manpower for that though then at least enough ISK in reserve to hire some people who can. Bring your own mercs in, ask if you can even join in their ops, have a shitton of fun, mind blown.

IMO a c4 isn't really a 'low class' wormhole. If you want 'don't bother to evict me status' - you want any C1 with a large, a c2 with a low or null, or a c3 with a low or null. Static Highsec systems have some risk, and c4s - now that they are a super highway, and provide decent isk, are not what I'd consider 'low class.'

Just food for thought.

Alternatively, I've seen people throw a medium POS up in a c5 and live out of it until someone finds the time to evict them... they just log their dreads in safes and put up another tower in a week (unless someone's moving in).

Edit: If your tower is fail fit; that also can invite evictions.

Any capital ships in that wormhole of yours? capital ships make people go crazy thinking bout those kill mails.

I'm no diplomat, nor was I present for the actual events that transpired, but I'd bet an investigation on that particular matter would answer a lot of the questions fielded in this thread thus far.
