I've started to explore again in null after a long time spent in WH and HS activity. From now I've done 4 angel sites (3 Relic and 1 Data) to gather the ridiculous amount of 10,2M ISK plus a few cheap BPC.

I've heard that CCP nerfed it but did they that much ? Or am I really unlucky today ?

4 more sites, one of them was worth 15 mil, and I get 5 mil from the other 3. Moving my ass to hostile space and face merciless bubblers isn't worth anymore :(

I was scanning in nullsec, in and around Gorgon Space. Eventually I collected 92M ISK, with 17 sites (data and relic, more relic than data).

I probed sites down with between 0.5 and 2 AU range on my probes (I got Astrometrics V, other scan skills to IV and Covert Ops to IV) with an Helios and a fitted scanning upgrades. I remember a lot of Angel Temples and Angel Scientific Outpost (or something like that).

Last time I probed for Data & Relic was roughly 18 months ago, with an Imicus, and 150M was the usual payout for 2 - 3 hours and less than 10 sites.

Combat Sites get you better rewards.

try diffrent races and also include WH space :)

Maybe I've just been very unlucky, but it really does seem like there was a serious reduction in isk at these sights. For the past many weeks my results have been very similar to the OP. This is in sansha space. I definitely haven't found any 100 mil sights.

I'm tempted to start going WHs, but I've been told the risk isn't worth it.

But I tried 2 sessions in Guristas space and it was way better. An average 30M / site. So I'm never ever going in Angel space :D

I am an avid explorer and have been for years now even before the big changes to exploration. I remember scanning down sites with a problematic and clunky scanning system deep in Delve dodging PL back when they were real mercs and back then times were good. I will admit the scanning system has had some sorely need improvements implemented however I think some other aspects have paid the price for it. There has never in my 5 years of exploring been so much competition! Its unreal I tell you...going from system to system finding 'No Results' on my scanner and then to finally come to a system that I can scan down with a oversimplified system and find that it has been cherry picked to death. That accompanied with poor poor loot distribution has put the exploration profession in a chock hold that all explorers can quite frankly do with out.

So no my friend you are not losing your mind...you have fallen victim to a already low RNG loot table and an over populated profession that I fear is dying a slow and embarrassing death.


CCP...fix it.
