Some of my information may be incorrect or outdated; however, it appears to me that:

1) The remote sensing skill lets you scan a planet without being in that system, as long as you're within a certain number of Light years.

2) The systems of the Anoikis Cluster (wspace) could potentially be within 9 LY of each other.

So is it possible to scan planets elsewhere in wspace from wspace? Is there a map somewhere that shows the systems (but no the links between those systesm, which are obvious changing)

This is just for PI/moon mining AFAIK. Also, there is no moon mining in Anoikis, so just PI.

The thing is, you can't really bring up a system on the map if it's in Anoikis AFAIK. So, basically I don't think this skill applies to unknown space.

It's perhaps kinda like how you can cyno within X light-years, but still you cannot jump to cynos anywhere in Anoikis.

So no, I don't think you can scan planets without being in system with them. There is a map that shows the geometry of the Anoikis cluster, though I don't have it handy. There are also websites such as eveplanets that will tell you the PI on any system in Anoikis.

Yeah, well, it's just like my opinion, man.

if you can find a way to view the planet, it will work even in kspace.

for example, updating PI while running around in kspace works just fine.
