Thanks for bringing this to our attention! You are absolutely right; as UK VAT on books is 0%, we will be selling the book for 89.99 USD to the players in this country. (to preemptively answer another question, VAT on books in most other European countries is also lower than the general VAT, but unfortunately the extremely strong dollar and added shipping costs do not allow us to reduce the price accordingly).

We'll update the website accordingly to avoid confusion.

However it didn't actually work as the website had a brain fart and won't give any shipping options for UK addresses if you try to buy in dollars.

I purchased one in euros ( it's still pending ) and have submitted a ticket. I was with CCP Goliath when the problems occured when ordering on a PC at Fanfest and I checked just now and ordering in dollars still gives no UK shipping options.

I filled a ticket regarding this myself still awaiting a reply, will update as soon as I get a response

Pretty sure I suggested having cool clothing bundled with this. That was kind of important for me, and offering FW LP clothing (which I already own) is a total letdown. I'm not enticed.

I've been trying to make a ticket on the Art of New Eden site asking for a general shipping date, and if my purchase is in the system before they all sold out and I keep getting this error:

"Please remove scripts or html tags"

My ticket consisted of 2 lines of text with no special formatting.

Test signature....forum not applying settings :(

Pretty sure UPS attempted to deliver mine yesterday, but I was unavailable.

Last I checked I wasn't expecting anything else by UPS ...

So it was indeed my copy. 61/2001 on the plate. Quite happy with it, even with the slightly inflated price tag.

Ordered March 30th, as of today, order is listed as "Pending", card charged, can't submit ticket as I get the same error message as the poster above "Please remove scripts and HTML tags", and there are none.

Bottom line...could someone at CCP check to make sure my order is still valid and will ship. Please.

If you have any < in your message, that can cause it to 'detect' html tags. Make sure if you do, that there's nothing /right/ next to them except spaces. That should sort that.
