I don't remember Mirkur Draug'Tyr being quite so drug fueled.

I once knew a militia pilot who called his Incursus "Lancealot". He referred to the antennae cluster of his ship as "the lance", had it sharpened and put frozen corpses of enemy crewmembers on it.

The ship was destroyed at some point, of course. Maybe, that "cursed lance" is still floating somewhere around the Vlillirier system, if noone salvaged it.

Also, this broadcast is a good reminder to finally stop drinking.

Though the 'lance' antenna does kind describe the Incursus really well: charge into somebody's face and hope to Pator that you got close enough to do ****-all.

::Ottom held a piece of papyrus delicately in his hands::

"You're sure this is all you got?" Ottom said to a view screen looking sidelong with a quizzical expression on his face.

"Yezz." A static filled mechanical response was heard over a small microphone speaker.

::Ottom shook the paper away and the hologram faded from a piece of papyrus into nothing::

"Jack." Ottom said into the microphone. "Come back to the ship we are leaving this backwater planet and heading to some of the research facilities newly opened at an Infosphere. Out."

"Rogger, Outt." Was Jack Grayson's response from planet side.

Turning towards the red light within the signal protected room of S.S. Say's broadcast booth Ottom said. "Henry. Start program."

If you don't know I am in search of a weapon that goes by the name Lancelot. I am not one for giving up once I have sunk my teeth into something but these clues are not what I expected.

I have here two types of artifacts that your clues have offered up and your clues have suggested. Two totally different leads. I will explain them so you understand why my engineering officer is currently running from cannibals on the planet below.

1. I looked into stacking corpses on a lance which led me to a few different places and multiple cursed lances. None of them having inscriptions on the shafts and none of them being very ancient in craftsmanship or related to lore. I do think a few of these expeditions are going to leave a scar.

It turns out this practice of terror is more closely related to vampirism than I care to investigate any further. In light of this please keep in mind that while the information is as interesting as it is terrifying the lance in which I speak... Lancelot is cursed but not... ::Ottom cleared his throat trying to find the right words:: ...not like this.

2. This brings me to my second lead. There was a Slaverhound dog fighting ring run by a person who went by the name of Butto Gholly aboard a gutted slaver ship where the slaves revolted and turned the transport vessel into a home for freed slaves.

Aboard this ship there was an undefeated Slaverhound fighting ring champion named Dragon that won so many matches the ex-slaves freed the hound. I found the animals bronzed statue aboard the ship when I was privileged to come and see their tastes had changed from pitting animals against each other to participating in the Faction Warfare.

I am now in route to the burial site of the Slaverhounds namesake in the Khanid Kingdom. A "nice" slave master who was spared a gruesome death once the slaves did take the ship. When there I am sure I will find something else to offer to these very vague tales of Lancelot and find the weapon, whatever it may be.

I am not on drugs although if I were the facts before me would still be solid proof of vocal lore leading to results where written word leads to slavery in more cases than not.

Excalibur the broadsword is clear as crystal and does not lead me to any home world but presents more questions begging to be answered.

If you think it is drugs that have illuminated these questions then I pity your cynicism.

The tribal elders in remembering fallen heroes via dreamscapes and vocal lore reinvented the weapon known as Tristan.

Tristans lead to Excalibur the missing broadsword.

Excalibur the missing broadsword has led to a cannibalistic vampire Lancelot that is cursed.

Call me crazy but curses can be broken.

Us Matari did not recognise the Tristan until we encountered the Gallente. I assume that both the other blades were Gallentean though I had never heard of these myths anywhere.

If something was cursed and lost, it is in your own interests for the thing to not be found.

Unless the plan is to gift it to somebody you really hate. Somebody who also has a taste for antiques and the occult.

Plenty of cursed lances around.

Never heard of Lancelot though, but he does sound Gallente.

I'm looking for a weapon not a person.

Lancelot upon further research sounds like a weapon easily hidden for a slave's escape from slaver hounds on foot.

It would be a retractable or foldable lance of some kind.

This would explain the curse if anyone found it it would look broken.

Let me know if anyone finds any old broken spears laying around.
