PLEX used to be worth 400m. Until supply of new players willing to spend real money on this game dried up, that is.

Any further attempts to "expand" this system are futile, because of the above. So absent any expansion of the playerbase, PLEX is going back to 1b ISK and will likely stay there for a very long time.

What's wrong with 1b price tag for PLEX?

Well one could argue it's still a little too cheap.

Maybe selling PLEX 15$ instead of 20$ would help in this matter. I never really understood why a PLEX was worth more than an actual 1 month sub. Oh well I guess CCP has good reasons for that.

Nothing. vOv

It is what it is, and unless we get an Great Expansion this summer, the last person turning the lights off will pay 750bn ISK for his last PLEX. Big smile

they do. Well etc has a small markup to cover expenses and such (which I don't mind paying, I get mine 3rd party so it keeps their sites running, usually a good thing). But in my case I know of hosting fees and such. I have paid some money for sites on hosts that love it when you go over the allotted bandwidth use. They are nice about it....for xyz more you get to see the bandwidth pipe get a little wider.

My etc to plex goes straight to game time. I'd direct cc pay it but because in asia the management pages make me use some local scam...err Asian online bill pay site. I etc to plex to gametime to avoid using this service. Basically I don't make eve a second job. My day job pays the sub price fine. If other players want to "work" for less than what a fast food chain burger flipper makes....that's a personal choice really.

You assume they don't enjoy what they are doing to make isk, and if that's the case your the one getting the short end of the deal.
