What happened to the QEN?

I remember we had regular quarterly economic newsletters by a phd economist hired by CCP, but there hasn't been one this whole year, I think? Where did that go?

It became "uncomfortable" when micro transactions were introduced.

Those Quarterlies were anything but regular, let alone quarterly.

The QEN is DEAD and Dr. EVE were shipped to Shanghai to work on Dust514 economy. Now you have to settle on those occasional DEV blogs, stating EVE economy indices and price indexes.

Adapt or die hard, that's the EVE style.

It died an unceremonious death and was replaced with a not-so-regular Dev blog about "indices" or some such crap.

CCP, seriously, bring back the QEN.

Blog declared its death and said ti was to be replaced with frequent price index reports then annual reports.

I enjoyed reading those, even if I got the impression that we were being given an incomplete picture. If QEN was too much work to compile, CCP should just release all the relevant numbers every month and let the players make sense of them all.

They did release some financial data recently. Wondering what more info people are looking for or maybe they want a census as well as more financial data too.
