Gallenteans have started the war and now are lying about it

The Federation was doing these things before the Factions got capsuleer technology.

Now, capsuleer technology has freed capsuleers everywhere to explore these concepts.

A Gallente capsuleer has a head start in grasping the concepts and finding a path.

I believe even Diana will come to realize this, given enough time to consider what has happened.

I...don't even know what to think anymore.

You heard it here everyone, freedom is apparently inhuman.

That's the problem with you, gallenteans, you accept your brainwashing by your media that concepts like freedom, hedonism, democracy and indecency are good, and don't even to try to think and realize that they bring way more evil to the world than good.

For example, said freedom is a destructive force of chaos, that destroys civilizations, philosophies, religions, sciences, rages cities and devastates planets, breaks families and implants criminality. Freedom is what turns humans into brute savage animals. And thus inhuman.

Forgive me, but the rather lengthy history of the Federation and the fact that it remains a prominent (and unified) power in the cluster stands as stark evidence against your claims.

Now, if you're speaking of complete anarchy and the illogical extreme of absolute freedom apart from any form of governance or reasonable law system, then we are in agreement. Which is why the Federation doesn't even attempt to maintain that kind of system.

Sooo... by that logic the Federation was completely in the right to punish the Caldari for demanding such a wretched and inhuman thing as freedom? Orbital bombardment, therefore, rather than being a crime against humanity... was the civilized extermination of vermin necessary to protect society from savage Caldari criminals who abandoned their humanity in their desire for the corruption of freedom.

Luc Duvalier and his Ultranationalists, far from being tyrannical war criminals, are (according to Diana Kim) actually pillars of righteous civilization and family values. Also science!

Thanks for clearing all that up Diana!

Why do we still hear you whine about "your people" and how you're going to "come for them?"

It's not like the Empire is hiding them after all. I mean really, if you want your people so bad, I'll buy some for you.

Feel that sting?

Now you have an inkling of what the Caldari feel. By siding with the Federation, your Republic just traded one set of Masters for another.

What are you on about? I was just wondering why a Diana Kim rant was being revived. I don't mind when arguments make some sort of sense, but her rants can be equated to the special kid in class attempting to solve a math problem, and her answer is always "fish".

Because she's not entirely wrong.

Yes, she's at a further end of the spectrum than some of the other Caldari voices we've heard. But at the end of the day, the reasons for the continued conflict still exist. .

The Gallente are using you.

Using whom? And for what purpose?

Considering the massive amount of Federation development aid that's gone to the Minmatar... why isn't it the other way around?

Because, clearly we are the villains of the cluster, Mademoiselle Vero. We're always scheming, manipulating and orchestrating dastardly deeds while trying to turn the entire cluster into replicas of ourselves so we can all shout in a unified chant, "Democracy, democracy, democracy!"

Ignore Caine. He's a bitter irrelevant old fool still trying to appear cool and edgy. It's kind of sad, really. You know, like one of those decrepit old men who squeeze their bloated bodies into hipster tight pants and hang around the nightclubs of Caille trying to pick up young girls.

Only a gallentean propagandist could have written such crap.

We were defending our PROPERTY (as colonies), that gallentes tried to capture, and our homeworld from gallentean occupants. If you say your actions were good, maybe then WE should occupy YOUR homeworld for next 200 years and bomb it down from the orbit. I would like to see how you will start singing after that.

You know, probably at least half the Caldari aren't that bad, misguided yes, but not bad.

However it's damn near time for The State Mega-Corps to tighten the leash on their 'lap dogs'.

Sorry Diana, you are shifting your argument. As usual. Just admit that you have no logic beyond "Anything the Caldari do is right, anything the Gallente do is wrong."

Because that's the truth of your viewpoint. You see absolutely nothing wrong with occupying Gallente Prime and blasting its cities from orbit. You describe Gallente people as inhuman. If you were Gallente you would say the exact same thing about the Caldari.

Whereas, "Gallentean Propagandists" like myself condemn the bombardment of Caldari Prime. We condemn the actions of the UNats. We condemn the oppression of Caldari people, as we condemn all oppression.

We do this because we value freedom. We value diversity. We value the basic human dignity of all people... including Caldari people.

Now frack off. Taunting you a second time has been enough of a waste of my effort.

I understand that the colonies breached the charter, it's not surprising since the people who built them were clearly preparing to go their own way, but shall we simply ask if the response was proportionate?

Typical gallentean. If someone points to your faults and resists your crimes against humanity, fights for their property and land against your occupants, they become "trollish mutants".
That's what typical gallentean propaganda show, in every their damn recreational movie...

You gallentes lie too much. One moment you agree to peace and the next moment you blow up the peace conference station with Fedeal Navy nyx.
One day you sign agreement that you will give us our homeworld back, couple years later you invade it again and cause planetary catastrophe just because you can.

You say you "value basic human dignity", but on other hand, gallenteans often walk in public half naked.

You say you condemn oppression of Caldari people, yet even YOU serve oppressionist regime that reoccupied about half of Caldari Prime again, who still wages war to occupy our Black Rise...

Anyone who has at least a couple of working brain cells wouldn't trust gallente anymore.

The original response was to try and bring the colonies under Federal regulation.

The Caldari refused and immediately withdrew from the Federation, creating a hostile entity both within and on the border of the Federation. (Note: I use the term "hostile" to mean "dissenting," not necessarily hostile in a military stance)

From there, history is a catastrophic cycle of disproportionate responses from both sides and from special interest groups or extremist factions within those sides.

So, the short answer: No, it was not.
