Any luck fixing the Mac SiSi client? It downloads the initial launcher update, quits on completion - then when you re-launch alternates between "Downloading EVE Launcher Update" and "Installing Files" (no progress bar update). I downloaded a clean client and ran it with the "--args /server:87.237.38.50" argument through Terminal.

I was able to update my old Sisi client on my Mac without problems (but I think it had already all launcher updates).
Have you tried to make a fresh copy of your TQ client and update this one?

I got it to work on my Mac. It downloaded the launcher update, closed, then I re-opened it and it did the patches. I got on just fine after that.

I'm not sure it's a feature from this particular version, but I can confirm that launching structures (a control tower in my case) from the fleet hangar of a DST works. However, you cannot scoop it back to your fleet hangar, as far as I know.

It would be nice if we could scoop the same way we deploy. Drag the item to the inventory. That way we can scoop to wherever, without a zillion menu entries.

I think I figured out the problem. I didn't realize it reverts the EVE Online app name if you've changed it, so leaving it as the default did the trick. Thanks.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Hey I realize this may not be the proper place for this question, but im gonna ask anyway.

I want to install a Sisi client on my pc. Since DoD released, which is the best way to go about that?

1. Download file from Eve website

or

2. Copy my Eve file into another folder?

Thanks!

Hey,

Could you please seed Polarized modules to market?

Thanks,

Option 2. is better (and might be the only option if you installed EVE with a new installer). First copy the EVE folder and then setup the appropriate shortcut with /server:Singularity. See Evelopedia for more details.

The Sansha Control Towers are actually Gallente Towers with the Sansha skin applied at the moment, looks quite interesting but I doubt it's meant like that unless Sansha started collaborating with Serpentis lately...

Blaster Batteries look a bit too bright cyan, considering the current gallente base color style.
Also, all small and medium railgun batteries now have the base model of a blaster battery?

Aside from these little flaws, especially the revised POS structures look pretty great, loving all the tiny moving bits around the arrays, makes it look much more alive (assembly arrays especially).

The fact that you already implemented the "offline mode" for structures (only seen it on towers) already looks quite nice and those are some pretty awesome new POS bubbles, truly makes you think of magnetic shielding... and THOSE ANGEL / DOMINATION TOWERS!
Need the Machariel to look like that again... please, please make it happen...

And I was just about to post this as a bug, it looks visually nice, but I think that it has lost its style.

- Skinned ships give a micro-stutter at the docking procedure

- the fitting screen has the powergrid and cpu left values upside down, which makes it very confusing to how much x modules needs or not and if you have room to fit it or not

- HACs have three rig slots now - yeay

Any reason documenting the urgent and dire need to change the DCU icon?

Anything new regarding these announcements (Nullsec Mining, Mineral Composition/Requirements)? I'd like to make sure that I have my Mining Guide updated in time. Blink

Would maybe increase the visibility of the side panel prompt (The arrows pushing left) maybe have "Ship Skins" written under them in small writing.

Had a few issues trying to find it at first (knowing that they would be on the fitting panel somewhere). Someone who doesn't know about it might not ever find it. Increasing visibility will make more people click on it out of curiosity which could increase possibly increase conversion of buyers.

I've noticed I've had to re-download all the bulk data on every client launch. Is this still a known issue?
